Brilliant place, amazing chips, classic local place. The owner was charming and friendly and will chat away and was so accommodating . Couldn't recommend any more, has a good vegetarian and vegan range.

Amazing everything !!!! And the cook is just incredible !!! The best fish and chips, mash peas and steak and kidney pie , brought back very good memories … if in Bath you must visit…. or just go to Bath to try the huge menu …. Amazing food!!!! … thank you

Like the chef is the finest guy. The atmosphere and food and are worth every star received. The fish is pristine cooked to perfection and the chips are magnificently cooked.

Delicious! We had the haddock and it was incredibly tasty, juicy on the inside and super crisp on the outside. We're slow eaters and it held very well to the very end of our meal. The mushy peas were delicate and flavourful and the tartar nicely balanced.

If I could give 6 for atmosphere and a 7 for service I would. Super crunchy batter on the Cod and chips. Cod was moist and flaky. Delicious tartar sauce and such friendly and helpful service! The terras is adjacent to a square with a gorgeous huge old tree. We walked up close to closing, having been turned away from 2 other places, and the staff had pity and served us. Was so very grateful anyway, but to get such a great meal as well? Perfect ending to our day in Bath!

Beautiful fish and chips, batter was crisp, fish flakey and fresh and the chips were proper!!! We shared a large cod and chips with mushy peas and it was plenty for 2 for lunch. Also had a lovely chat with Luke who runs the place, he was super friendly and we had a proper good natter. This place is a proper chippy ♥️

Very tasty fish and chips. The fish was fresh and didn't reek of stale oil as it does at many places.The service was good. The owner is very friendly. It's a popular place, so indoor seating could be stuffy but outdoor seating is also available.

This restaurant has been in Bath for many years, so I was very surprised to see it on my recent visit to Bath. I took my friend to enjoy the OAP fish n chips. Would definately visit again, the staff were very nice, & the food came to us quickly.
