Food was excellent as was the service. I believe utensils were brought out to the table before I could sit back down from ordering! Bartenders were great too, took our order in a loud bar without a problem. Ginger beer was nice to have but I wish you guys had coffee going. It was a rainy cool day. My wife had one of the drink specials and we all cleaned our plates. Wish we could have eaten outside, the courtyard looked cozy.

My first impression left me wanting more! I ordered the chicken & chorizo pie and goodness was it delicious! The staff were very welcoming, the music playing were classics that appeal to all crowds, and the establishment was very clean. I can guarantee I WILL be back for another pie and pint! Lo, I visit Bath quite a lot and entering this pub can, at times, feel like I’ve time travelled. The manager, to my shame I didn’t get his name, but he has a luxurious Irish lilt, was the throw back. He is really good at his job, so professional, so attentive and he really makes you feel welcome. Not that I asked for it, but I got the distinct impression that nothing would be too much. The other staff are equally as professional and welcoming. The food is fab as is the beer. I’ve been in here a few times now and will always make it one of my haunts whenever I return. (Thumbs up)

Had a very enjoyable lunch there. The staff whom I interacted with ,Harvey and Zoe, were efficient and very helpful and made choosing what to eat from a huge menu so much easier. The prices were more reasonable than any pubs or restaurants I ate at prior .While everything was good the standout was the beef pie of the day .Huge puff pasty crust and yummy insides. The mash, though, was disappointing should have gotten the chips Would definitely go back ther if I was staying longer
