Really beautiful building and atmosphere. The drinks were quite imaginative and the food taste really good. However, the service took quite long and two out of the three people that were at the dinner ended the night with indigestion, bloating, and cramping.

Amazing building, great atmosphere (music a little loud) service is ok but long waits at busy times, didn’t eat but have in the past and just ok. Well worth a few drinks if you are in the amazing city of Bath.

We absolutely loved this place. We just had our Sunday lunch together with our son and his girlfriend, both students at the University of Bath. The service was fast, very polite and efficient. Becca was a star host at our upstairs table. The food was delicious. I particularly loved the fact that the Sunday roast doesn't come completely covered with gravy as this is served separately with the vegetables. All seasoned to perfection. We got two chicken roasts, a cheeseburger, and a chicken katsu. All was very tasty and delicious. The atmosphere is unique. The space is well furnished and decorated. A little hidden gem. We will definitely come back when we visit Bath again!

The food here was insanely good. We ordered the Halloumi kebab and it was flawless, I could have ate it again. The ambience in the restaurant was really nice and chilled, the service was great and we had a great night. Would definitely recommend!

A fascinating and impressive historic space, lavishly decorated. A great place to experience. Enthusiastic and professional staff. The huge domed interior makes it a bit noisy for some tastes.

Nice bar and restaurant. It used to be a chapel and frequented by Jane Austin. Food is tasty and good value.

We had an amazing lunch at the botanist. My best friend and I were celebrating 23 years of friendship and Ellie and Casey kindly gave us a free glass of Prosecco to help celebrate! It was such a lovely gesture and we were so touched. All the staff were so friendly and although they were busy and it was SO hot they couldn’t have done more! Thanks all 🤩 Cat & Rach x

Great location and hidden gem of a restaurant, we also really love the feel of the place. The reason I'm not giving five stars is because we had to wait for 20 mins to ask for the bill. The service seemed to drop of towards the end of our dinner with one poor girl covering the whole restaurant, I now feel guilty for getting short with her. Due to services dropping off and very small tables, we ended up having to put empty glasses, etc, on the floor. But I must say the cookie dough deserts are mega along with the cocktails. We eat on the 6/7/23.
