We've come by this pub searching for a place showing the rugby internationals. It looked not very well attended when we first came in and we were advised there wasn't any cooked food. …

Nice refurb but very intrusive very poor sound quality music blaring all around the bar area, and massive TV always on even if no one watching. Disappointing, but easy to fix.. …

Lovely local pub. Friendly bar lady. Pool table will open again after the pandemic. Delicious pint of Amstel. I often stop here if I'm in Combe Down. Pokémon go gym! …
Henry Duckworth ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Nice local pub, good selection of drinks. Skittles alley is a big plus, friendly place to go for a pint and watch sport. Often put on live music and other events.
Roger Banister ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Its a reasonably priced village pub, with all that that entails, with its all day drinkers, local disputes, and laughing locals, and they try hard, the staff are open and engaging, they have choir, regular sports television. Special food and music nights, Pizza...a car park and somewhere to sit outside..
