Southgate Open Air Cafe

I do love a visit to a Cosy Club. The atmosphere is very home from home for us. Always a nice place to have a relaxed, cosy and intimate feeling meal. Service was excellent and Tabitha our waitress was lovely. Very friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty but you are noticing a change in portion size to the price or an increase in price. I know that the hospitality industry is suffering with the increase in costs and food shortages but it is disappointing when you notice the changes even a month or so apart. Still an awesome restaurant chain though and I will revisit.

Lovely lively venue which was like an old fashioned Speakeasy. Fabulous atmosphere, great bluesy /hazz music and wonderful cocktails. I enjoyed an English Garden cocktail which I can truly recommend, cosy seating, discreet lighting inside and a furnished outside terrace. As the Cisy Club is in elevated position with stairs, however, if mobility is an issue there is a lift. A thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours in Bath city centre.

We visited The Cosy Club after researching restaurants with good allergy options and it didn't disappoint. The staff were brilliant from the moment we entered and the manager personally saw us, took down details of my son's allergies (of which there are many!) and directed us to a detailed app to show what he could eat from the menu. I felt nothing was too much trouble and the food was really tasty. It's hard to find trustworthy places for a child with big food allergies, but we felt very confident and he really enjoyed it. The service was great, lovely place to be and the food was tasty too. Order a side salad or veg if you would like it with your meal though, I overlooked this part, but that was my error!
