Hillier Garden Centre

Highly recommend the afternoon tea. Lovely range of fresh sandwiches, quiche and delicious cakes topped off with huge fruited scones with jam and clotted cream. There was plenty of tea to wash it down and the staff were very helpful. We did our best but had to give in and take a couple of cakes home with us. a lovely experience.

Went looking for plants for newly installed planting area. Just want to say his very helpful David was. Must have driven him round the bend as I’m no gardener, but he remained cool calm and collected through his awful experience with us! 🤣 He couldn’t have been more patient and showed us many plants which he thought were suitable for area. I actually returned some plants I had bought earlier as he explained they weren’t quite suitable for where I wanted them. A great help and full of info, so much so I’m nearly an expert now! Thank you David for your patience and attentiveness, truly appreciated

Lovely little garden center. Cafe at top of slope has beautiful views with good coffee and a large selection of cakes. Although not much of a gluten free choice out seems. The garden center going down the slope and the shop at the bottom has a very good selection of plants and gardening goods. Trollies are at the front of the shop at the bottom of the slope. Lots of parking too.

First time of visiting the garden centre. They had a great selection of plants. I was after some advice on selecting a couple of trees and Lee, was able to provide suggestions and advice as well as look for availability in the other branches. Thoroughly enjoyed shopping there and will definitely be back. Their cakes on sale looked amazing too!
