A really busy place, rightfully so! Lovely environment & ambience inside and plenty of sheltered seats outside with blankets provided. The coffee is one of the best barista drinks I had along with the perfect latte art. For food I opted for the vegan bhaji wrap, a really good fusion of flavours and couscous is always a nice touch. Will definitely visit again :)

Went for a second visit recently. Absolutely love the food here. The Indian Breakfast is delicious and comes with a gorgeous mango lassi. It is topped with sweetened aniseed and other lovely crunchy Indian breath fresheners. My friend had the Thali and loved it too. We had some cheesecake with fruit compote, also delicious. My only small gripe is that the coffees are quite small, but overall, really fabulous food and lovely staff and service 10/10

This place was incredible! The food was cooked beautifully, the curried scrambled tofu was so original (and tasty), service was quick and friendly, the coffee was superb. Really recommend giving this place a go. I'm already looking forward to coming back (with reinforcements).

Stopped for lunch as we were passing, absolutely fantastic range of Indian and veg/an options for snacks. Had the Indian poutine and chilli feta smash, will definitely be back!

We had an incredible time at Rooted. We were a party of 4 - 3 of us ordered the Indian breakfast and 1 of us ordered the Railway Thali. The food was absolutely amazing and the portions were quite generous. The masala eggs in the breakfast spread were heavenly! The service was really prompt and the staff were so friendly and so sweet. Definitely worth a visit, for the food, the ambience and the service!

What’s the most important part of a cafe? The food? The service? The atmosphere? Well, there’s no need to worry about that at Rooted, because all three are ‘five stars’. Just visited for the second time; the first being a terribly hungover breakfast with the eldest, which I barely remember. This time however I was fully alert, but still in need of coffee after a long drive. From the moment we were greeted to the moment we said goodbye, being at Rooted was like a big hug. The food was delightful and plentiful; I’m not sure I’ve ever had a nicer Dahl. The service was perfection, even from the stand in lady, ‘helping out’. And the coffee… I’m a boring black Americano old man, but for once that didn’t make me feel ignored. A delightful drink, made with care. So good I bought the beans. So yeah, what a great experience. Thanks

WOW. fab visit & food. From service to food variety & taste..delicious. The Indian breakfast with Mango lassi was very tasty. The ONLY area they could improve was the changing area for babies/ toddlers in a very small toilet.

Will come back here in a heart beat. We had their coffee, golden milk latte, the Indian breakfast with mango lassi and their turmeric shot. It was PERFECT. The food was delicious. Lovef the Indian breakfast and it's totally a unique offer as no other cafe in Bath is doing this. Also the service was on point. We were the first ones there at 9am and it started to get busy around 10ish so we're glad we got their early. Definitely coming back again. Book a table if you're going around 10am.

This place is overflowing with happy vibes and great atmosphere. We went on Mother's day and they still managed to squeeze us in after being fully booked for 2 weeks on that day. The food was great and the lovely greek goddess was so friendly and helpful to help make Mother's Day special for my wife. The only thing that let it down was the coffee - maybe they had a different barista than their usual one. I would have given 5 stars but the coffee ruined it. Definitely will go back for food only, well done anyway. 2/10/23 Update : I grabbed some takeaway gluten free carrot cakes, coffees for the next part if my 70 mile trip and a Berry smoothie aswell. All were great and the staff as friendly as the last time I went in. Their kitchen closes at 4pm, so get in earlier and get your food fix. You'll find parking down the side roads if you're lucky, but way better than trying to find a park in central Bath!
