Coffee amazing 👏 and I'm not a big Coffee drinker. Cookies amazing 👏 the tiramisu didn't taste like tiramisu. We did actually wonder if they gave us something similar and mixed the order up, or it just wasn't what we hoped it would taste like, no coffee taste at all.

Chocolate heaven! If you’re a fan of decadent, rich and chocolate heavy desserts, search no further. Every cake, cookie and dessert bar had some form of white, milk or dark chocolate. One also has the option of adding a chocolate drizzle on desserts.
The milk chocolate mousse cake consisted of a chocolate cake topped with milk chocolate mousse and milk chocolate ganache. The mousse was silky and smooth, however a bit too sweet.
The carrot cake was our favorite, as the moist carrot cake with raisins and nuts paired lovely with the white chocolate cream cheese and was neither too sweet nor too heavy.
The chocolate cake consisted of a rich and moist dark chocolate sponge, thick layers of dark chocolate ganache, and a white chocolate merengue frosting. The chocolate ganache layers are very thick, too thick, making the cake very heavy.
The chocolate chip cookie sandwich with a thick, dark chocolate ganache were delicious! Buttery and rich with a hint of salt.
At £5.50 per slice, the cakes are not cheap. The staff was polite, not overly friendly. They should improve their packaging of take-away goods. They packed each cake individually into a separate box. As we bought 3 cakes and one cookie sandwich, we were given 3 cake boxes and one paper bag for the cookie sandwich. It’s quite a waste of materials and rather unsustainable.

Cute little coffee and dessert/chocolate shop. The classic frozen hot chocolate is refreshing and tasty, not too rich. It’s fun to sit outside on a warm day and people watch outside Bath Abbey.

Great selection of hot chocolate, the guy helping me was super helpful when choosing which was best for me! I like less-sweet drinks so I went with the 72% dark chocolate with whipped cream and a marshmallow. I definitely recommend the toppings, they were a great addition to the tasty, rich, hot chocolate.

The most decadent chocolate desserts you can imagine.
The cafe is quite large with two rooms for sitting. Service is very friendly and helpful.
The food is just crazy. Don’t go here if you worry about weight/cholesterol/general health. The chocolate treats here are out of this world good.
Highly recommend

Amazing chocolate! I opted for the 100% original hot chocolate and it was the best decision I made that day! I don’t like excessively sweet things and that hot chocolate definitely wasn’t! Perfect combination with a piece of cake. The place was filled with fairy lights and pink signs. It was beautiful.

Came in to get a bite while I waited for my train back to London. I ordered the chocolate cake - this is a very very decadent and rich cake and it’s a challenge to finish by yourself.
The cake was very good though, and quite moist too!

Great service, wonderful location. Enjoyed the hot chocolate with live music at Abbey square. The hot chocolate and shakes were delicious. They have vegan options as well. A must visit.

Not a fan of white chocolate, so I was pleasantly surprised how much I loved the roasted white hot chocolate. I had it with the coconut milk instead of dairy. The flavors were caramel and a Graham cracker. The 72% was pretty good too. My daughter loved her gluten free cookie sandwich but it was A LOT of frosting. The team is working hard to keep customers happy. This is right in front of the Abbey and The Roman Baths and around the corner from Sally Lunns Buns.
They also have great fruit infused water with orange, lemon, lime and mint and ice water available. Events are also available like candy bar making classes.
The 54% hot chocolate was not that good to me. A bit watery. Loved the roasted white and the 72%.
Remember the cake slices are huge! Share;)
Love the staff and great playlist. Wifi is spotty but it’s so popular I imagine they don’t want anyone staying too long for the wifi
