The food was really lovely. We had a breakfast bap with bacon, egg, halloumi and chilli sauce. We decided not to pay over £3 for a teabag each and had FREE tap water. We then decided to buy two frozen ready meals which sounded delicious. However we were astounded to find that we had to pay a service charge for, not only the food that was brought to our table but also for the takeaway food that we collected ourselves from the counter!! Tips should be voluntary and only for good service - not for takeaway collection especially when the meal we asked for wasn’t available. We were given an alternative. Very disappointing and, in our opinion, very unprofessional.

Absolutely wonderful experience at Hideaway Kitchen at Redbrick! We visited on back holiday Friday and had a great experience. Top quality food and service from Dean the manager. Had the Yorkshire breakfast with homemade baked beans. 10/10.

Lovely outside area, table service a bonus, staff lovely. Place spotless. Not sure where these other reviewers were eating. The food was lovely had harissa chicken burgers. The coffee was HOT and Filled to the top unlike many other places where it is luke warm and all froth.
Would certainly recommend I don't see how you can be disappointed unless you want haute cuisine! Go and enjoy !!

Slightly different food. Attractive decor. My husband had a chicken satay with mango salad as a main which was delicious. I had a steak and ale pie, something I have never had before. The steak in the pie was so tender that it melted in your mouth. Good service.

Had another fabulous sunday lunch here yesterday. Beef was rare, succulent and tasty. Veg was beautiful, buttered, seasoned and tasty. Gravy was also excellent. Cruzcampo beer on tap with great service. Well worth a visit.

Not the easiest place to find as the name suggests, but we'll worth the effort. The restaurant is spacious and doesn't make the mistake of jamming as many tables in as possible to maximise revenue. Instead, the owner has created a pleasant and atmospheric place to find. The dining rooms are decorated with white walls, wooden floors and tables, which are thoughtfully adorned with plants and wall hangings, adding to the ambience. The food is very good quality and plentiful with an excellent range on the menu. Staff are friendly and helpful. Not the cheapest of places but I would willingly accept this knowing that I will not be sitting six inches from another diner. Highly recommend (but don't tell anyone). Robert.

Very pleasant venue, good quality food, well presented from interesting menu. Sun terrace a delight on a warm sunny day. Careful of opening times as it's not always all day.

Very nice menu. Hidden away a little so was supposed at the quality. Service was excellent. Nice but small seating area outside on a nice day.

There are not enough stars available, to provide the appraisal Hideaway Kitchen deserves! I frequent this beautiful offer at every available opportunity, experiencing the same amount of pleasure from each consecutive visit. The Hideaway Kitchen is a universal venue, catering for all occasions. I take great pleasure in introducing personal/professional associates to this truly wonderful offer & hold absolutely no reservation, in providing a strong recommendation for this business & the team!!

Good experience in every way. 2adults + 3g'children. Almost 5 clean plates!! I am a diner who loves hot/ heatwise food & would have preferred my food hotter. Otherwise no complaints. Wonderful to sit outside afterwards for a drink & desserts. Thank you
