We were in the area for an appointment and happened upon the pub. We were blown away - such a beautiful pub with the most friendly and welcoming landlords and staff. The food was DELICIOUS - proper home cooked, wholesome food. For such a fantastic price too. The three of us all agreed it was the best meal out we've had in a long time. We just wish we lived closer as we'd be in very regularly! Thank you. ✨️

Booked a table for 4 for a Sunday lunch and no complaints at all, we all had starters, mains and desserts and all were great traditional pub restaurant style food at great value.
Staff were attentive, polite and professional and made you feel very welcome.
Can't recommend this pub enough and will definitely be returning.

We were a large group there for Sunday lunch. Right off I was very impressed with how responsive the pub was to all our enquiries. The atmosphere is cozy inside and the service was friendly. On Sunday they usually have a few roasts on offer and they have a Royale roast which is 3 meats plus 2 Yorkshire puddings and other typical sides. Portion was generous and the food was delicious. They also have a large outdoor seating area. I highly recommend this pub for a delicious meal or just to grab a few drinks with friends!

Came across this pub the other day whilst driving through the area. Absolutely lovely food, top quality customer service. Have been travelling around England and it is definitely in the top 5 pubs we’ve been in. Felt welcomed by the lovely staff on arrival. Very busy on arrival, but were happy to accommodate us. Top quality service. Food was served fresh and quickly. Gin lovers galore. Thanks to Dan and your team, we will be back.

We went for the £6 curry night and both had a chicken jalfrezi (hot). They came with naan bread, papadams and mango chutney my husbands was piping hot, mine was luke warm and he had far more chicken chunks than me, and it wasn't as spicy hot as we expected but for £6 we thought it was a really good deal. The pub was packed and had a nice ambience too and we had a couple of pints of Stellar Artois which was really welcomed. Overall we had a good visit.

Friendly staff and patrons, great food, lovely atmosphere, gorgeous pub, awesome gin selection. Great location half an hour's walk through gorgeous countryside from the caravan and motorhome club site. We visited the pub 3 times in one week it was that good. Also very dog friendly. Highly recommend it!!

What a fantastic place. Fantastic setting, outstanding food, excellent service. It was recommended by a friend, we went, enjoyed it so much that we have been 3 times in the last few weeks! We live 2 hours away and visit family, and this is part of the visit !!! Well done everyone at the White Hart Inn.

Lovely little pub... Great atmosphere, friendly staff and the food is excellent at a reasonable price. Had the chicken supreme a couple of times and consistently good (see photo). Can't wait till they start lighting the log fire and going fur a nice cosy lunch.

Lovely country pub setting, pleasant staff. Didn't eat there but pub was very busy and many tables were reserved for lunch/dinner so would recommend booking in advance if going to eat there.

We are a family of three and booked a table whilst staying at the caravan park down the road. This beautiful pub had a wonderful atmosphere, staff were friendly and attentive, and pleased to help. The pub restaurant was very cosy with lots of attention to details, a very pleasant area to sit in. The menu had just enough on to offer a good variety but not too much, and the food was spot on.....delicious homemade food, including a nice children's menu. We came here to eat twice in one week's holiday. We are returning to the area again and will definitely be booking another table.

Had lunch with 5 friends we all enjoyed our meals very much. The two young ladies who served us were charming polite and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Great selection of spirits available. Good to see photos showing the history of the pub. Highly recommend a visit.

It never matters what year you visit the White Hart, it's like a honeymoon every time! You always think 'this can't be better than the last time we were here' and Surprise! They've outdone themselves again! It's a tribute to the quality staff, the commitment to service and the commitment to quality the White Hart maintains. You just cannot go wrong with the White Hart! I heartily recommend you visit here any time you need an escape from your Mother-in-Law! The food is fantastic, and the ambiance is fantastic! If you miss the White Hart you've made a silly mistake!

Although title is Inn I think it's a pub, we went for drinks and a meal. Very nice food, good service .

First time at the White Hart, but hopefully not the last. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had Liver and Onions and it was the best I have had in a very long time. I did mention it to a member of staff. The vegetables were all fresh and very plentiful. We shall certainly recommend it to friends and will hopefully pop in again one day.

Tried to eat here on bank holiday Monday being a regular and living local to pub. pub was fairly busy asked for table told none free asked if we could eat in bar garden we were told possibly but would have to wait our turn by very rude grumpy rude bar man. would have been nice to have been talked to and treated politely we would have happily sat and had a drink while we waited. manners cost nothing !
