Costa Coffee

Excellent !!.. the new guys Gino and Paul are exceptionally good.. but tbh So are the rest of the team ! .. huge improvements over the last few weeks... plenty of stock, good staff, much cleaner the ever before..pleasant environment and the best coffee in Battle in my opinion ! Keep up the good work 👏 Tony.

This branch has the feel of being the premises of an old bank. The windows are set very high on the walls with the result being that you cannot see outside. I would imagine that it is a very cosy place during Winter, but I have to say that without a view of the street outise I found it a little oppressive. On the plus side the staff were really helpful and courteous, the coffee was great as you would expect, and the food we ordered, a pannini and a toasted sandwich, were really very good. I would go back, even though I can't see outside!

Depends on which staff you get - have had 2 very different experiences in last two weeks! Once, huge queue as both members of staff prepared one single order so I must have waited over 10minutes - staff seemingly oblivious. Second time different staff, much more efficient and friendly. Will go back but if it's the first two staff members will just walk back out I think!

Lovely little costa excellent, considerate and very polite staff. The young lady who manages the store is a little ray sunshine on a bad day who can always put a smile on your face and offer her time when needed. Overall great costa looking forward to the new store opening a few doors down shortly ;)

Having been to Costa in Battle plenty of times, I've always considered it the nicest Costa I have ever been in. My opinion was further confirmed when my 10 year old grandson said to me, as we walked home after a lovely experience 'Nana, those people must really like working there, they're really nice'. That sums it up. Nice, genuine, cheerful helpful staff, not to mention the yumminess of the food and beverages. Thank you guys, for a lovely Nana/grandson experience today. xx
