What a lovely evening. The staff couldn't do enough for us. The manager made time to ensure we had a excellent dining experience. If you haven't tried El Toros yet please do, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent time for 9 of us. Food very tasty, just a couple of issues. What's with the 10% service charge which is now added without asking, is this a new unwelcome trend? Not happy with that, next time ask! Plus please ask one of the waitresses to try to be less miserable next time.

El Toro, well I really can't fault the place, food, staff, the whole evening was fantastic. The all you can eat Tapas was incredible and it's the whole menu not just the cheaper options or "Chef's specials" all in all great value we will definitely be returning.

Usual pricing for tapas (overpriced in comparison to other cuisine), vegetarian dishes were tasty but meat dishes left more flavour to be desired for. Cocktails were a good size but require more alcohol to balance the taste. Staff were friendly and service was prompt, however I wasn’t dissatisfied to find an assumed 10% tip added to the bill in the form of a ‘service charge’.

On an irregularly busy festive Monday night (18th Dec 2023) me and my wife were greeted and seated at the bar immediately by the friendly Leo, Dil and their colleague (we didn't get to ask her name as she was serving a different section of the wonderful restaurant).
We were given the chance almost instantaneously to order drinks of which we both had cocktails. A Bahama Mama for myself and a Blueberry and Passionfruit Martini for my wife. She politely asked to swap out the gin for vodka which came as no trouble at all for Leo who then momentarily gave us a theatrical mixology show.
Our table was ready moments later for us to start devouring their all you can eat tapas menu...
The food? Wow. "Value for money" as an overall summary doesn't even come close. The speed of service for each round and quality of the food accompanied with smiles and humourous anecdotes from Leo was phenomenal. Bare in mind that this standard was delivered all the while being what seemed at capacity for 2015hrs and the 1hr45 thereafter.
With an Xmas party table of about 15 and other various numbers of hungry, thankful diners filling the place and receiving the same level of thoughtful yet urgent service, I tip my hat to you all.
Nothing was too much. Regular check backs. Recommendations of their own personal favs from the extensive, beautifully crafted list of generously portioned tapas. The attentiveness.
Just freakin' awesome. Especially the San Miguel battered, Argentinian prawns of which I had 4 rounds of during the barrage of plates being brought to our table.
I wish we had taken some photos to add to this review.
Go and try. See, taste and lavish in the experience for yourselves.
We shall be back. Thank you for making our evening a memorable one.

Lovely food staff very nice and helpful. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing when some certain customers had left as couldn't hear each other talk it was a lot better afterwards

This was my first visit here, August 2023.
Food was good, great happy service and prices not bad.
I was nervous about what to order but the menu and the staff helped me to choose the right amount and mix.
I will be going again with more of the family as soon as possible.

Really enjoyed all of the dishes, nice drinks and friendly staff.
There's a good range of things to choose from on the menu, staff happy to help as needed. It was all brought out speedily, tasted great and looked good too 😄
Pricing as expected for tapas restaurant - £5-7 per dish depending on cooking style and main ingredients with plenty of vegetarian, meat and fish options.

Fabulous tapas! Service is excellent! Had a fantastic meal there. Calamari, king prawns and paella was delicious! Will definitely revisit El Toro. 👍👍

Came to this bar/restaurant with a couple of friends after Google recommendations. The staff were pleasant and attentive throughout our visit. The menu was quite large so in the end we all went with the buffet option- I would highly recommend this for value. Our food was well presented, good quality and decent portion sizes (as well as receiving a few extra free sides in between our buffet orders). When we visited it was not very busy so I can only assume the service remains this high when it is busier. If you are near Bawtry I would highly recommend this restaurant.
