Great pub serving great food. Dog friendly too. Large portion sizes and served by staff who obviously love working there. So friendly and welcoming and we were given a bowl of meat for Milo as they had no dog treats left. Thoroughly recommend.

Just popped in on the way home for some dinner. All the staff are really friendly and helpful and the food is second to none. I had the lamb shank and it was probably the best lamb shank I've ever had. And the roast potatoes were delicious with creamy mash and seasonal veg. Highly recommend going

We were curious and a little apprehensive about going knowing it had changed hands, but we given a warm friendly welcome and the food was brilliant. Thanks very much for making our girlie lunch a very pleasurable one we will definitely be back.

Hubby and I went today for lunch , we both had a mixed grill and it was so yummy , perfectly cooked meat . All at very reasonable price, friendly service 😍 highly recommend.

This is the first time my wife and I along with the brother in law and his wife have been to the ship and it will not be the last, the food was plentiful and piping hot with a good selection for your Sunday dinner and all the staff were very tentative and pleasant for all your needs . keep up the good work everyone, see you soon.
