Delicious food and excellent service despite lockdown. It's really sad to see how lockdown has impacted restaurants, so I applaud No.5 London End for being able to produce such high quality food, in a safe way, for takeaway. The burger was definitely up there amongst the best burgers I've had - I had the Mexican. The patty was a good size, tasty and not overcooked. The accompaniments were fresh, jalapenos provided a lovely bit of heat, and the brioche bun was perfect and not too sweet (which can sometimes happen with brioche). I can't wait to visit the restaurant when it reopens but in the meantime I shall visit as often as my New Year's resolutions allow.

Really great food that was skilfully prepared and cooked. The presentation was fairly standard but the quality of the ingredients stood out. My steak was melt-in-the-mouth tender with a rich taste. The service was OK, friendly but fairly standard. It was a busy Thursday evening dinner service and it looked a little understaffed for the number of covers in. If the tables/diners weren't packed in so closely, it would have been a 5 star review. It's often a challenge with the layout of period buildings, but I'm sure they could have created a better configuration with more room to move. Like most tables, we were wedged against a wall and out elbows were touching with other diners! The staff couldn't pass through easily and neither could other diners. It was quite disruptive to our meal and did take away some of the enjoyment from our dining experience. I would return to dine at No.5 and I would recommend the restaurant to others, but I'd advise you to go on one of the quieter evenings and book your table choice in advance, rather than leaving your seating allocation to the restaurant.

Just gets getter and better. The team were so welcoming to myself and my family (including small kids) on the weekend. Tasty food and a lovely atmosphere. We have sporadically been visiting here since it opened and in our opinion this place just keeps getting better and the FOH team are fab. Will def be back

We had a fantastic evening at the No. 5 restaurant. The starters arrived at the perfect time and all of the food was simply divine. I would recommend the rib-eye steak with some peppercorn sauce. The service was superb- we had 2 or 3 different waitresses over the night who were all lovely and really personable. The restaurant itself had a great ambience and the seats were comfortable. Finally, there was a good selection of wines and we had a really nice time. I shall be returning.

Excellent food, fantastic service, noce location, lovely interior. Fabulous little private room with bar upstairs too. Portions on the small side (at least for my taste, when something is so scrummy!) but very nicely prepared, clearly with lots of attention to detail and real food passion. We'll be back! Thank-you.

We are regulars at No5. This time we hired the upstairs function room for my Wife's birthday party. We were joined by 30 friends. We had a buffet of sharing platters which were excellent, the staff and management could not have been more helpful and friendly. After eating we had a silent disco which lit up the room and went down a storm. Thank you for looking after us so well and making it a very special occasion.

Food was excellent. We went for an anniversary dinner and the staff were attentive but left us in peace. The pork croquette was very good, in particular the onions. The corn fed chicken was succulent and the quality of the different flavours in the vegetables was distinct and very good. We had a side of broccoli which was delicious. Nice touch, they gave us a complimentary Happy Anniversary dessert. Nice hubub and atmosphere for a Tuesday evening.
