We walked into this restaurant by chance and were greeted with a warm welcome. From then on our experience surpassed all our expectations; attentive and knowledgeable staff who were eager to accommodate our needs. Food was superb. ....... Ginger potatoes and chicken karmasutra are highly recommended. Kudos to Mr Hasan Chowdhury who took the time to ensure that all his guests were looked after. The location, decor, food and most important the friendly staff guarantee "The Old Bengal" as one of our best restaurants.

Went here this evening to grab some take away. What was really apparent was the waiters seemed to know a lot of the customers by name which is usually a good sign. All the staff were incredibly friendly and the food was some of the best take away I’ve had for a long time. I went for lamb chilli Masala with pilau and garlic Naan. The guys even gave me a free beer. Will definitely be back soon 👌🏻

Seemed kinda pricey on each choice. But when it turned up the bowls were pretty big. So don't over order. Lovely flavours. Really nice attentive service. Really nice place to eat. Well done The Old Bengal 👌

Food was tasty enough, though doesn't stand out from other currys I've had. Bit expensive but that's the area rather than the restaurant. They're good in handling dietary restrictions like vege or gluten free.
