Absolutely delicious, super fresh and brought to the table by the chef himself. Very friendly staff telling of their favourite way to eat bonito flakes. Being from Australia, I have been spoiled with delicious sushi and really struggled to find good sushi in the UK. Achimi is officially my go to sushi restaurant. 10/10 🥰 (picture of delicious takoyaki)

Would be 4 stars but having to reduce to 3 stars for the lack of atmosphere or ambience, and it’s a little pricey for how sad the restaurant is inside. We do like coming here for the sushi and the lunchtime bento box is really good and good value, however the menu is quite expensive. And given the prices, it’s a shame that there is zero ambience in the restaurant and clearly no love or investment has been made by the owners to make this interior special. If they put some money into redoing the interior it would justify the price.

I had a great meal there last week. It was quite busy as it was the weekend but the staff were very attetive. The sushi rolls were really good and sashimi was large in portions. We're not too local otherwise would be regulars here.

We booked a table for 7 and I have to say, top to bottom, the experience was great. We ordered plenty of sushi across the menu, as well as the odd chicken katsu and everyone enjoyed their food.
The sushi tasted and looked fresh, the staff were super polite and the layout felt authentic to Japan.
Sure the menu items were on the pricey side but heck, it's sushi, you get what you pay for.
