We were a large party (8 adults, 2 children)
The roast dinners were brilliant! Huge portions, 7 different vegetables, large Yorkshire puddings! Child portions also large . All excellent value, great service, friendly staff! Highly recommend!!

Went twice during a recent fortnight in anglesey, once for lunch and once for dinner. Superb both times. Food was spot on for everyone, service was great and the beer was excellent too. Nothing at all to not like, just get there early if going for lunch. Highly recommend the pork pie👍

We go this place every week and without fail we get a table, and eat there! The food is alway 10/10 with no issues what so ever! I have seen a few reviews about staff being miserable, to us they are so welcoming and go above and beyond. I also seen a bad review over no signal, if you asked the bar staff they will give you their Wi-Fi details as this is an option. I look forward to returning this weekend.

Same wonderful food, service and lovely old building as it was last time I ate here a year ago. Do yourself a favour and walk past the chippy if it’s fish and chips you’re after if you don’t believe me look at my tea below 😍😍😍 5 star service with a smile even when busy

Lovely historic pub. Very cosy and warm. Amazing décor inside, quite a character. Food was served fast and tasted as good as it looked, fresh ingrediencies and generous portions. Huge selection of local beers. Pretty busy with people coming in and out but staff was working efficient and makes sure everyone is served asap. Very good experience thank you, hopefully will visit again soon

On TripAdvisor we looked for a nice restaurant and from the 3 most positive ones we choose this one because of the name. The food was good (beef in a pie with beans and chips). The building was 1410 !! And looked nice. You had to order at the bar and pay. It tasted real good.

WOW a huge delicious Burger!!!! The meat very juicy. The Welsh rarebit it's one of the nicest that I ever had.
And the historic building. Well impressed. The service was nice. The staff helped us to find more about what has been discovered through renovations work. It's dated since 1410 if I remember right. Really nice experience. Thanks
