Great friendly pub. Ales are excellent. Shame no food but staff were happy for us to get fish and chips and eat it at the outside tables with our beer. We were lucky enough to be there on Tuesday night and there was good live music.

Unsure about the provision of food, but there's a good selection of pub nibbles - crisps, nuts, pork scratchings, scampi flavour fried crunchy things and other savoury snacks. Large number of eateries nearby as well as lots of fast food takeaways.
Live music is offered once or twice a week on Friday and/or Saturday.
Large outdoor covered seating areas outside for those who embrace the outdoors or smoke or both.
Easy to locate, public transport readily available nearby, but no parking.
