Not a obvious cafe to eat at but My Goodness fantastic food and friendly staff/owner made us feel so welcome went with our Niece and it was packed out good old tucker

Why bother going to a pub for Sunday Dinner?
Had a take out dinner from Ambers Cafe today, got to be honest was just as good if not even better than eating out at a pub. Yes, maybe you do have to take it home and dish it out yourself. Plus wash the dishes after. But, oh my god it’s worth it. I am now stuffed. One of the best dinners I’ve ever had. Thanks Ambers. 👍

An excellent cafe and great prices. Nothing is to much trouble. If you want to swop sausage for bacon or vice versa no problem. If you want poached eggs instead of fried, no problem. The breakfasts all come with tea or coffee and bread and butter these are not charged as extras.
The cafe has adjusted marvellously for a small business for Covid. You have to sign a book, sanitise your hands and wait to be seated. There are also plastic screens up in between tables and they now take card.
