The staff make this place, food was good, drinks fairly priced, dog friendly which is a huge plus for us. Attention to detail despite being busy was an exceptional touch. We felt really welcome. Had a few meals here since it's been refurbished. I can honestly say that I can't fault the food and service! The staff are pleasant and friendly and every meal I've had has been very nice and a decent portion too. I would highly recommend to any one who would like to try the Anchor.
