We had a wonderful meal there last night. Very tasty, good service and family friendly (we have a 7 & 2 year old). Traditional english choice of Sweet & Sour was tasty. Fillet beef in black bean sauce was lovely but the steamed seabass in ginger & garlic was beautiful. My wife is Chinese & she rated it very highly. Is quite popular so book. We got there at 6pm & it was 1/3 full in 30 mins.

The food is always cooked fresh - considering the waiting time since lockdown, the chef's along with drivers do an amazing job getting the food to us whilst hot and fresh.

Food ordered on Saturday night which was absolutely beautiful. First time I've ordered from Peking Palace in under a year and my oh my, this is now my go to Chinese in Bedford. The chicken balls were full and soft. King prawn dish was so tasty and so many prawns in the meal. Veggie spring rolls were incredible too. Overall a fantastic meal, delivered quicker than advised on the phone, authentic Chinese cuisine at its best. Recommend Peking highly

Very friendly staff & very good service. The Chicken with Ginger & spring Onions & Chicken with green peppers in black bean sauce was so very delicious. It was one of the best that I've had so far.
Very good and tasty food! They made a mistake with my takeaway order and really went above and beyond to make it right. You don't often see that dedication to customer service from a small restaurant/takeaway. Highly recommended.
Went for a work meal, there were 30 of us and the restaurant was able to accommodate us all and keep a very good level of service.
The food was great, we tried many dishes and I can't complain about any of them.
The decor of the restaurant does look dated and slightly dark but it is still a great place considering the food.
Under new management this is still imo one of the best Chinese restaurant/takeaways in Bedford. Consistently good food and the staff are friendly and helpful. Car park can be hard to find but it's worth the effort! Good selection on the menu and prices are ok if not the cheapest in town but, we tried cheaper and happily pay a small premium for high quality, freshly produced dishes

Always very good food. The chicken is halal but all the veg options are amazing too. Crispy prawns were fab, as are the Lettuce wraps, prawsn in garlic, chicken in cashews and the sweet and sour chicken. Never disappoints!
been going here regularly for a few years!! on our recent visit a few small changes prawn crackers while you look thru the menu chop sticks on the table no need to ask for them plus a few other nice touches fortune cookies fresh cut orange after your meal warm scented wipes.

Have used this Chinese for about 6 months now, and would never use another.
The food is flavoursome - like, really tasty. Every other Chinese we’ve had in Bedford have been bland and every dish tastes the same- just salt and grease.
Their black bean sauce is something else, food is always piping hot, delivery is always quick enough, i always get the same driver and he’s always happy, polite and friendly.
Vegetable chow mein always with lots of veg, pak Choi too which you don’t usually get elsewhere. Their shredded smoked chicken is the bomb if you like a garlicky dish too.
