Lovely Father's Day visit, great food and service as always! (The burger was requested 'naked' and the fish & chips requested without peas).

On a Tuesday night attended an event hosted by the hippy witch. We had drinks and food, we had a lovely evening the service was brilliant even though it seemed very busy we had no wait for drinks or food. I had lasagna and it was nicely presented and delicious. Great pub, thank you all for a lovely midweek evening.

This pub is alright, definitely on the pricey end of things. Burger was very dry and the beans had clearly been sitting under a heater for a good while, the table was so wobbly and bumpy my drink actually spilled twice. They only replaced it once which was a shame. Seens as i was soaked. We still had a lovely afternoon here. The staff were great, the inside is very clean. Toilets spotless. Ordered a brownie but unfortunately a cheesecake came out. Then I was told it was a brownie, even though I have eyes and could clearly see it was not a brownie. Told it came with a scoop of ice cream but it came with normal cream. I then had to pay extra to actually get the ice cream. It seems to me that this establishment would rather get every penny possible than keep the customer happy. Which is a shame. I probably won't be back as it felt like dispute after dispute. It wasn't bad it just wasn't great either

I was pleasantly surprised by our last minute family meal out (15 people). The bar staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. The food was better than I had expected (couldn't fault it to be honest). Although the men's Wimbledon final was showing on the TV, it wasn't obtrusive for those not too interested. The atmosphere was good. Because the Sunday menu has roasts on it, it did mean that some of the choices available on the weekday menu weren't available (I fancied sausage and mash but that doesn't appear on Sunday; they may have been able to provide it if I'd asked but I'm not one to rock the boat). I wouldn't think twice about coming here again or recommending it to others. P.S. The sticky toffee pudding with custard is to die for 😋

The pub has been recently renovated and it looks great. Staff are professional and friendly and the atmosphere is pretty good too. Also it has lots of parking space. The portions are decent, the food was freshly made and had good flavour too. Overall it’s good value for money

The team at the Pheasant saved the day after the rain spoilt a family birthday get together. At short notice they accommodated a large party for drinks and let us do the birthday cake. They were super friendly and helpful which we really appreciated. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and is really nice inside too. We will be back 😊 Thanks again.

I grew up as a teenager literally 2 mins walk from the Pheasant pub and it was never a go-to establishment for me or any of my peers. I was there today with family celebrating a significant family birthday with a meal and drinks. The pub has been transformed and is fresh and modern and inviting. The food was decent and service efficient. Overall, it's a pub and restaurant that I would recommend to people in the Bedford area. The only reason my review is 5 stars is that when a Yorkshire pudding is described as "giant" on the menu, I expect something impressive. The Yorkshire pudding that arrived with my roast pork belly and veg was average. So, I'd encourage the management to avoid using words like giant when they are not delivering.

Liked this busy pub. There was 13 of us and they managed to squeeze us all in for food and drinks. Staff were very pleasent. Food is normal pub food but everyone enjoyed what they had. Even got discount with my blue light card.

Just moved to the area. Love that this pub has events and entertainment. Ordered chicken wings, honest review, they came out Luke warm but was given a free drink and they heated them up swiftly and they were fab. Great service and a lovely place to sit and enjoy an evening. Thanks to staff.
