I love a meal out at Montys! You can't go wrong. Good service, good food at great prices. No alcohol is served on the premises so take along your favourite tipple and glasses will be provided... happy days.

The best Indian food in the town. Very polite gentleman and pretty good service. The food tastes close to the real authentic Indian food. Must try: Kulcha naan, chicken garlic and monty's special biryani.

I've only been for takeaways. But the food is very reasonably priced and great quality. Nice fresh vegetables too (I'm a vegetarian)

Recently visited again, and the only problem was the sheer amount of food we were served so we couldn't finish it all.

Excellent local restaurant and takeaway. Try the Monty's Special dishes and the Extra special dishes. No alcohol served here but feel free to pop into the Budgens opposite for some drinks, they do corkage for free.
Personal favourite dishes are:
Chicken Dilkoosh
Chicken Tikka Biriani - this comes with a salad and full portion of veg curry
Peshwari nan - different from what you get in other Indian restaurants, more nutty than sweet.
Vegetable Bhaji - like a veg curry buy the sauce is drier.
Chicken Cocktail - a slightly sweet curry made with almonds.

This is a lovely little restaurant with friendly and welcoming staff! Ordered fried fish grill and lamb with almond sauce with special rice and it was sooooo delicious !!! 😍😍😍 will definitely going back again thank you!!!

Great food, reasonable prices, polite staff. The estimates they give you on delivery time/pick-up time are usually quite realistic. Especially recommend the tarka daal and the lamb tikka massala.

Reasonably priced food, they are ok. But not entirely Indian I would say. They do make some nice dal, but pretty oily.
