Good-friendly service, delicious authentic food and on street parking. I am a veggie and they were flexible and offered to make some dish without meat for me which I highly appreciate. Also very reasonable prices.

Very good restaurant. Great fresh food. Complimentary bread salad and olives. Turkish tea in the end. Value for money. We felt that we looked after well by great staff. Highly recommended. Good for family.
Had the most amazing experience and delicious Turkish food thus far! After my sister recommended this place, we had to check it out with the family.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Loved the deco and the restaurant had some amazing waterfall features. My children loved the cookies and cream and the food overall was lush. The mock tail was so refreshing and I couldn’t resist but order another glass. I would definitely recommend this place especially, for those who want to go out for a nice relaxing family meal out. Looking forward to visiting again! Bedford was in so much need for a fancy Turkish place ;)
Great food and great atmosphere.
Loved the food, absolutely delicious, so many flavours. For starters and main course had one of the sharing platters for two people and remarked how there was enough food for three people let alone two. The meal was beautifully presented and pleasing to the eye and will say again delicious.
We visited early evening and it was quiet and found the service was very good and our waiting staff to be very helpful.
Only negative for us was that there was a peculiar smell and we could not fathom what it was. However once the food came out all that was forgotten.
The complimentary Turkish Tea afterwards was a nice touch.
Plenty of refreshments to choose from ..all non alcohol but this was not an issue for us.
We will be visiting again with friends.
The food was cooked well, it's just the lamb dishes lacked flavour in my opinion as did the minced lamb pizza that we had. The couscous was good in my opinion, as were the chicken dishes. We went for like a mixed grill type dish for 2. Prices were reasonable also and the portions were big.
The food was fantastic and my family really enjoyed their meals. Although the service was slightly poor, we were able to over look that due to how well the food was.

With fine dining, the menu has easy to understand with detailed descriptions.The food was utterly delicious like an explosion in your mouth.They have never bought out bad food in our experience.
The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing.
We travelled from Birmingham to Bedford to try Istanbul Kitchen as we heard a lot of good reviews from a few friends and it was the best Turkish food we have tried so far, the drive was totally worth it.
Their service was brilliant, although it was slightly busy, they had dedicated staff assigned to certain tables, which was pretty impressive as we wasn’t waiting around to be served and not many restaurants have this type of service
The decor of the restaurant was beautiful and unique. We loved it how they had an open kitchen, it was very interesting to see how our food was being made.
Cookies and Cream - all I can say is YUMMY!!!

This is 3rd visit and it is an absolute perfection from start to finish. One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Service was also outstanding. A fantastic evening at Istanbul Kitchen.
