I can't believe I didn't come here sooner. I've been twice now and tried quite a few different dishes from the menu, and all of them were awesome. Pro's - Great food. - Relaxed and informal dining. - Nice selection of food and drinks to choose from. - The owners are very nice and friendly. - Nice decor. - Resonable pricing. Con's - Free daytime parking - Really need a better online presence. - Relaxed service. Had a ask for cutlery once. - I wouldn't bother if your a vegan or vegetarian. Summary I'm definitely going again as there's still a whole bunch of stuff on the menu I want to try and the food has been exemplary on each visit. I love that it's a small, friendly and family run business. Can't wait to go back.

I went for dinner last weekend with my family for my birthday. We all really enjoy our time there, the environment makes you feel like home. Is a little nice place perfect to spend with friends and family. Staff was really nice and food amazing. I had the tradicional cod and I loved it.... I defenetly come back again. Thank you Toucatelha for an excellent birthday.

Um jantar spectacular!! If you live around Bedford and you haven't tried Toucatelha Restaurant let me tell you , you're really missing out on authentic Portuguese food . Susana could not have been more accommodating, her service was warm and welcoming. She gave us multiple recommendations and provided us with fresh delicious portugese food. I highly reccomend the prawns and the natas!!! 🖤☆☆☆☆☆ 🇵🇹🇲🇽🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧🍷🍷
