Toast - Bedford - Photo album

Afternoon tea was really nice, the service was excellent, decor lovely. Scones and sandwiches were delicious, especially as the scones were served slightly warm. The hot chocolate could be improved and I think the choice of the sweet selection could have been a little plainer to appeal to more peopl
One of the oldest and most reputed places in Bedford. The rooms are comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is good! But the best part is the location. You get to see the river and the swans. And folks kayaking, running and walking their dogs. I really enjoyed my stay here!
Afternoon tea in Anna's Waited a good deal of time in the foyer before being seated. Lovely room, crockery and silverware. Food was excellent but service was shocking, However once seated it felt like we were abandoned with no one asking if everything was OK and having to ask for refills of tea. I d
110% recommend this amazing hotel. It's attentive staff, talented chefs and location. We very recently held our wedding at The Swan. It was seamless from start to finish. From initial correspondence with Sommy in events to the amazing on the day staff lead by the epic Charlotte. Go Swan Hotel, you
The rooms were pretty nice. It's a bit of a rabbit warren getting around. The reception isn't obvious, from either the main or rear entrance. The staff weren't overly helpful. When we enquired about snacks or light meals, they directed us out to the high street. It wasn't until we walked back to ou
Had very good experience food was off good quality and reasonably priced. Only let down was 1 off our party was allergic to mushrooms, ordered the steak with. And yes it turned up with, sent it back and apologies were there came back out fresh steak but was really rare original was ordered med well,
We took my parents as a gift. They really enjoyed themselves. Hotel is situated in the older part of Bedford, by the river. My parents liked the food and I thought the staff were outstanding.
I took my sister here for a birthday afternoon tea. We had food allergies in our group and they were dealt with really well. Everyone was super helpful and couldn't have done enough for us. It did get busy but they still had time for us and didn't rush us. Everyone was lovely.
I only used the thermal spa here so can't comment on the hotel. The spa has its own separate reception area within the hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would say bring pool shoes if you want to wear them or they do sell them for £5. They provide a towel and robe for you to use
Beautiful place. Super king sized bed. Room overlooking the Thames. The most amazing coffee bags in the complementary tray. The shower was so lovely, I struggled to keep out of it!! Good quality complementary toiletries, as well.
Lovely hotel and staff however parking is a joke. No drop off area for luggage and angry locals when you try to unload as they want to use the spa. Hotel should prioritise the guests not the spa users
Me and my partner have stayed here a couple of times as we’ve wanted to visit this hotel. Our room has been spacious both times and immaculate. Staff are friendly in reception and bar area. If you want a relaxing night and day or weekend, I’d recommend this hotel!
Didn't stay the night here but celebrated my hen party at the venue with an afternoon tea and use of the spa! Gorgeous building and amazing spa! The only thing that could have improved our experience was a top up of our tea.
