Had a nice family evening. Plenty of choice on the menu. Was not rushed off the table.

We had a relaxing drink with family in this lovely pub. A trip down memory lane as my ancestors originated from Blunham ( Battle) it was a shame the landlords were on hols. It is a beautiful area with lovely thatched cottages. We will return.

Nice meal for 7 friends for a birthday. Service was good and didn't wait too long .The food was nice and nicely presented. Plenty of parking at lunchtime on a weekday. Would eat there again for a relaxed lunchtime meal.

The three times iv been to the anchor there has been items that are not available on the menu. But you dont find out about this till after you have ordered especially if you order on the app. The staff are helpful and try to make things work but they still won't full pay for the item that's then not as advertised

Not bad but we were told we couldn't book more than 8 for breakfast as they were fully booked when we got there there were loads of free tables and our table was actually set for 10. Also the breakfast was just the normal breakfast on the menu (nothing special for father's day) and there weren't any sausages! Tesco is literally behind the pub and they have loads of sausages for sale. No complaints about what we did eat though and the staff are friendly.

So used to go to a chef and brewer to use our clubcard vouchers. Thing is the C&B menu has gone downhill so thought we would try the Anchor more in hope than expectation. Pleasantly surprised is an understatement. Staff are all super professional and friendly. On the two occasions we have visited the food has been excellent and you can't knock the value.

Lovely little pub! Bit of outdoor seating and a nice, country style bar. Only came for a flying visit to meet a friend but the staff were lovely! I would really like to bring the family here on a summers day and spend the afternoon. I'm hoping there is food served here because the location and building are lovely!

One of my favourite places to eat. Staff are all lovely, foods always fresh, what more could you want.
