Limestone Cafe

This is a very cute little local place that specializes in awesome breakfast dishes. I got the corned beef hash and my wife got the corned beef sandwich. Very good! They make their corned beef from scratch and you could tell. Some of the best I've ever had. Everything was fresh and tasted great. You may have to wait a little while for your food because every table was occupied when we got there. It's worth the wait. I would strongly recommend the corned beef hash.

Honestly I hate leaving poor reviews, especially for small town local cafes. But it needs to be said, do not waste your time and $$ here. We sat and waited for 15 minutes to be greeted and watched 3 serves walk around/ past us. Please understand the place was dead/ not busy. After receiving our drinks and ordering we waited another 55 minutes for a chicken bowl, Swiss patty melt & burger. The burgers were dry and plain/ unseasoned. Gave me a pretty bad stomach ache and I don’t get them often. The menu is very small so we expected quality food, especially with the prices. Overall the decor is cute/ cheap craftsmanship, pretty drafty/ cold so dress warm. Good luck with the business, I truly do hope the best for them.

Place was closed, despite posted Hours and live online status saying "Open" (Sunday 5/22/22 1:00 pm). Had a friend coming from out of town, and planned to meet for lunch at Limestone Cafe. Specifically chose for high ratings & reviews. Said "Open" online in real-time, and per posted Hours. But, upon arrival, was closed. Sign in window said they were closed for a catering event. It's fine to do catering, but should reflect that in posted Hours, and online status should not show "Open". Disappointing and embarrassing. Had to scramble to change plans with friend. Found Courtroom Sports Grill nearby, which turned out to be excellent (as reflected in my 5-Star review of them).
