The Nook Espresso Bar

I'll actually give here 3.5. Ate here for breakfast three times in the last year and twice got the 'Wake Me Up' Wrap ($7 egg, cheddar, salsa, avocado, black beans, corn, sour cream). It's delicious, full of toppings, but wrapped very tightly and well, as to not make a mess while you're eating it at all. That combined with any hot beverage would hit the spot for me. The maple latte I had yesterday with it was perfection. One other visit tried the 'Heart Stopper' ($8 bacon, egg, cheddar, tomato, green onion, pepper & mayo on a bagel) was very good too, just well made compared to other places. The cafe itself is very clean with probably seating for 20+, lots of natural lighting. You order at the counter and they give you a number to bring to your table. Friendly staff. I want to try a lot of their other menu items, so will be back.

The food and drinks are amazing here! Service is sometimes spotty, but they are always friendly. Edit: I stopped going to this location. After the started messing up orders or not making them correctly, especially at that price point, it doesn't make a 40 min round trip worth it. Last time I went and got a hot chocolate, it just tasted like hot milk, not much chocolate. Then the previous couple orders I had were done wrong. It got frustrating.

I've been buying the coffee beans from this Newfoundland based roaster for quite some time and they are delicious. This cafe has good food and desserts. I've had three roasts from this location and I find they tend to brew their coffee fairly weak. Even the dark roast which should be robust in flavor. I'm hoping the coffee comes to life soon.

Clean, friendly staff. However do not buy the chocolate chip cookies. They might be ok if they were fresh and hot but the ones I took home couldn’t even be saved by heating them in my microwave. Even warm I found them hard and not particularly tasty. I couldn’t even make out the chocolate chips. Not my style I guess.

Staff was a bit aloof and average as far as friendliness.... water had debris and a bug in it lol... but they corrected it promptly. Ordered two Americanos, they were nothing to brag about. Atmosphere was nice and simplistic. Great work place or to study. Big windows and comfortable seating. I would go back😁👍
