More than happy to give a genuine and well deserved 5 stars to Richard and the team. My son made his first large purchase and bought a bike. Richard dealt with him and his needs professionally but also personally, he understood the pitfalls of dealing with someone just starting out and even had his bike ready for his first shift at his new job. For that personal touch and amazing bikes, go no further.

Superb bike shop. Found the shop online as they had a bike I wanted in stock in my size. Reserved over the phone and visited the shop a couple of days later. I was able to test ride the bike (and was allowed to test a significantly more expensive bike for fun whilst waiting!). I part exchanged my old bike which was a very easy process with a fair price offered. The new bike was checked over whilst I waited and enjoyed a nice coffee and large slice of cake. Would definitely recommend and was worth the travel. Very happy customer who is already enjoying the new bike.

From start to finish the whole process of buying a new bike was seamless. The online part- exchange form was easy to complete and a response was received quickly. A visit to the shop so part exchange bike could be inspected to confirm quote and selection of new bike couldn’t have been easier. All staff were very professional and helped me to make an informed choice of new bike. Delivery was arranged and arrived without issue. Communication was a big strength, whether it was over the phone, e-mail, via the website and most importantly in person. A great service and will not hesitate to recommend to others.

I liked the shop and felt welcome when I walked in. It was great to be able to see a good range of bikes too. Before arriving, I knew exactly what I wanted and when I found it, I was able to complete the purchase and take the bike in the same transaction. These guys go the whole way ! They are a shining example of why to buy your bike local, and not on the internet. I've been a keen cyclist for approaching 50 years back, and generally speaking I KNOW exactly what I want..... Flamme Rouge are the first bike shop in 30 years who have impressed me with their knowledge, shared passion and eagerness to understand and satisfy the customer. Jamie sourced me my latest steed having talked knowledgably about the setup and the suitability for the tall and/or 100Kg+ rider. (Most shops seem to focus on children or racing snakes..) When the bike arrived, Trek had substituted a key component (at the time many current bikes were manufactured, there were still CV19 related component shortages) and just as a Tesco substitution usually disappoints, this did. The workshop guys totally got my desire for a specific component and they made it happen - The expected part was sourced and fitted and today my new hard-ish tail hit the trails. I should also comment that I have a full workshop of cycle tools and I never trust anyone to work on my bikes - They showed me a thing or too which meant I was 100% happy to jump on the new bike without feeling the need to check everything was right. They had. Thanks guys.... Such a wonderful demonstration on the benefits of using your local bike shop.

The service was outstanding! I was helped out by mainly Joy and other members of staff throughout my purchase. My purchase was through my employer cycle to work scheme. Joy was very attentive to my requirements and guided me with what equipment to purchase. The quotation was emailed to me and any queries were answered promptly. The order process was easy and I received my bicycle within 3 days. They helped me with the adjustments to the bike and I was quickly on the road. I would like to thank the staff for their help and assistance.
