What a great meal! Everything was fresh and delicious, beautiful presentation. Our server, Clementine I believe, was very engaging and made great wine suggestions. The atmosphere is very relaxed compared to most places you visit to get a meal like we had, and this was perfect for us! Make sure and order the full four courses!

Great food and gracious welcoming hosts. We’ll be back! The wood fired pizza was fantastic.

This is not your average pizza place. You must make a reservation in advance.
We were greeted at the door immediately & seated inside. Social distancing seating which was fine, lots of space. We ordered the two course meal with caprese salad, was absolutely delicious. And for the main course, the hot summer pizza which did not dissapoint. Tomato, oil, mozzarella, basil and salami, which is not something i typically order for pizza but it was the perfect combination and amount of ingredients for the most delicious pizza I've ever eaten!
If you're passing through town, you must visit Meanwhile in Belfast. Relaxing atmosphere, cute decor, amazing owners, I felt the restaurant was safe & clean. Very happy with my experience and food.

This is a spirited little restaurant just off Main Street. I enjoyed the Summer’s Tasting menu. Starters included wood fired warm olives which were hard not to put down. My Tucson salad with avocado was good with a large helping of prosciutto. Main course was the fired pizza with pepperonis. There was nice charring, I would have liked a little more crispness in the crust. Overall flavor was to my liking. The meal finished with their version of tiramisu, which is quite different than what many restaurants serve, but the berries were a nice touch. The owner was very accommodating and pleasant. The meal was NYC expensive when combined with the drinks so bring the Benjamin’s.

Absolutely delicious food. I think if you are expecting a typical american pizza joint you will be disappointed. This is a nice restaurant that prides itself on fresh ingredients and traditional preparation. Go with the flow and be open to the suggestion that they really know their food.

Loved this quaint restaurant! I had my 9yo son and 5yo daughter with my husband I and we all enjoyed every minute. The children voraciously ate the "visionary" pizza, husband "hot summer", and I thoroughly enjoyed the wild mushroom pizza (special of the day). The crust was thin, mozzarella creamy, and the crushed tomatoes were the exact amount of acidic! The lime and sparkling water were a perfect accompaniment to the freshness of the meal. Steve was terrific, jovial, attentive, and made us feel very welcomed! Thank you for a wonderful lunch! We will definitely be back!

What an absolute gem. The restaurant itself is in a perfect nook. It has a lovely walk-out patio with a peek at the bay. The waitstaff was so pleasant, knowledgeable and made us feel right at home. They even let us sit at the bar to watch our pizzas cooking (like the kids). The wine was on point, oysters we're meaty and the best we've EVER had, and it was so great to experience true, VPN pizza. If only they had a Portland location!

Awesome pizza. Will definitely always be stopping here on my way through Belfast.
*update* Stopped a second time here on our way up to Bar Harbor. My husband and I agree that this is some of our favorite pizza we've ever had!

We went here during a snow storm for lunch. Food was really amazing! They offer vegan options as well as standard (but higher class) fare. We had a Marinara pizza that had WW crust, marinara sauce and 4 slices of garlic. We also had a Shitake mushroom dish that was really good. The only issue I had was the price. It was $12 for the pizza (not bad--even though it was personal size), and $24 dollars for the mushroom dish (which happened to be a special of the day). The food was freshly made and really was delicious, I just wish it had been a little less expensive for lunch.

Amazing pizza, interesting choices, freshly locally sourced ingredients mixed with high quality imported items. A bit crowded, the tables are a little close together. It has a high class feel, though, and the wait staff is top notch.
