It's authentic as it can be compared to HK roasts dishes. Service is fantastic, food is delicious, although wonton was quite dry and not enough fat and the thin noodles with it was unsuitable for soup more for fried and as we ordered takeaway, there was more vegetables than noodles on both the main, hence the one star off. Nevertheless, it hasn't put me off, would definitely try the Thai dishes next time.

Really good Hong Kong style siu mei. You can have the same taste as in Hong Kong. I won't say it is the best but you can't ask for more when you are in UK.
If you always try those UK-HongKong style food, you should come and taste what Hong Kong style should be. Most recommend is siu mei.
For Hongkonger, I really recommend ice lemon tea, which taste like Hong Kong too.

Probably the best place for delicious Hong Kong styled barbecued meat (char siu and pork belly), roast duck and chicken in town. Home made soup very nice too and Staff all friendly. Will definitely come back for more goodies in future.

I loved the fried rice so much. It was so delicious 🤤. The chicken tasted really good but it would have been better with some sauce. The soup was so perfect and hot and spicy. It was perfect for the cold weather. The waitresses were so kind.

I am a huge fan of roast pork belly and chat siu. I love tossed noodles more than rice. Customer service is great. I saw some low ratings many years ago for bad service but now at least for couple of times I ate in, all of them are nice. Two of them left me a deep impression for their warm smile. Hope my comment can bring more clients so everyone knows staff are nice now : )

My third experience here at Same Happy and I am always very impressed. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. If you are looking for authentic food with reasonable price I highly recommend here. I will visit this restaurant in a often basis. Thanks Same Happy!

A nice place but it's a bit annoying that they only take cash. The staff is very friendly though and food is nice enough. I got the dish with 3 types of meat for £11.50. For me it's on the expensive side, and the Chinese leaves was very bland. The sauce that came with it was very nice though. You can get cheaper food here too but I wanted the dish with 3 meats. Overall, would recommend.

Such good value for money and the menu has such a good variety of choices from Chinese to Thai food! The portions are huge and the menu can even be adapted to chop and change things. Wait time is short and the meat is done so well! Yum! Can't wait to go again!
