Having had a few bad experiences in the Glenowen many moons ago I was convinced to go back and try it by the wife. I'm glad she did. Completely refurbished and the food and drink was excellent. Staff couldn't have done enough and reasonably priced as well. We're within walking distance I'll definitely be back!

We've been back a load of times, its our new regular and have to give the management a huge kudos for the food, drink (The New Yorker) and the live music, Helter Skelter is outstanding!
I had honey chilli chicken as a starter, I there was too much of the sauce and not enough chicken even for a starter. Saying that my main was lovely I had the usual, steak with peppercorn sauce, tobacco onions and champ. It was really nice. The service from the waitress was above and beyond. She was very helpful and dint rush us. Staff are very polite. We went in about 6pm on a Wednesday and it was quite quiet so not much of an atmosphere but I'd definitely be backand would recommend here. Not too dear and for the price we payed it was worth it.

I was honoured to have a surprise Retirement event here for 50 + guests. The staff went out of their way to make this the most amazing night. 3 course meal, with plenty of choices. Couldn't complain about any course. Thank you all so much.
Was up today we were a party of 30, the lovely Mary gave me her number so I could give pre orders, we all ate together, food was piping hot, perfect timing between each course, kids meals were perfect for wee ones, food was delicious especially my chowder best in Ireland 💚 service was #1 staff were so friendly and made our experience top notch 💚 would definitely recommend anyone to try here, and look forward to going back soon 💚 thank you Mary and the rest of the lovely staff 💚💚💚💚💚
The food is lovely here and the staff are brilliant, great spot to visit.
Was in on friday night just after 6, thought i was cutting it short as was in a rush. Had a 2 course meal for 2 and couple of drinks and out in an hour. Food was good and service was good too was checked on quite a few times which was reassuring if i hada had any problems or wanted anything else.
Went for our lunch yesterday i got the glenowen burger it was great staff were very friendly and quick the others enjoyed their food aswell

First time in the Glenowen Inn, I had turkey and ham and it was lovely, very tasty along with super fast service and two pleasant well mannered girls serving.
A relaxed atmosphere inside.
Very busy place.
