First impressions of the entire entrance was less than enticing (best described as possitively filthy) nearly had me leave without sampling the rest of the premises. However, ignoring first impressions we headed to the almost packed restaurant, found the place unfussy, clean, staff welcoming and the food good, served timely in ample portions at a reasonable cost.

We were in this lovely restaurant... for a Birthday dinner for my great friend .. meal was fabulous £15 = for 3 courses ...great selection on menu And served by very friendly great staff ... We had grand time ... I recommend it totally Ooh and book before they be very busy especially on a Sunday .... sorry to have to say ... Trinity Lodge has had a bad fire ... it is closed for time being 😟 Hope it is able to open ASAP!! Good Luck to them All

All I can say is it was one of the nicest Christmas dinners we have ever had out as not only was the food plentiful and tasty but it was also piping hot. The staff were very friendly also and nothing was too much trouble for them either. Lastly don't judge a book by it's cover as I nearly did, the place itself is nothing fancy, no frills just nice down to earth people and food. Merry Christmas

The family have been here loads of times. Food is not expensive at all, a good menu with lots of choice and great staff too. Food is always plentiful with added sides when requested. Could not fault this place. Well done! Only downside, a small one, they don't take credit or debit cards so remember to have cash on you.
