Caffe Nero

They must of turned themselves around reading some of the previous reviews, because the toilets were spotless and the service was brilliant. The workers here are the friendliest I’ve encountered for a cafe Nero (but then again I’m a Londoner so perhaps the bar is to the floor 😂) anyway, made my day as a solo traveller.

Stopped in for a quick coffee (which was amazing as always) & was at one of the outside tables while also waiting for my bus. When it arrived, I ran for it leaving my handbag under the table abandoned and didn't realise 'til I was half way home. I rang the cafe and the staff (Joel I think) had already found it and brought it into the shop.....MY HERO! For anyone who doesn't know the area, Donegall Square West is one of the busiest places in Belfast City Cetre at 5pm and I had very little hope of ever seeing it again....much less 1/2 an hour later. I can't honestly speak highly enough of the service - as I was a regular Caffè Nero customer anyway I had gotten my coffee for free using my loyalty card and my barista was as attentive to my needs as the next (full paying) customer....and then this. They will always be rated 5 stars in my book. **Just to add to an already 'too long' review - Joel (I'm so sorry if I'm getting your name wrong) refused any personal reward for this, not that it was a huge amount or anything...more of a thank you - instead he directed me to put it into the "tips jar" on the counter**

You have a woman who works in your Donegal square west store (Belfast) and she is next level awesome. Always super friendly and just witnessed her paying for and giving a coffee to a homeless man. She deserves some kind of raise - she is one of those people you remember because her customer service is amazing.
