Bistro Restaurant

We had a fantastic lunch here today. The food and service were good, but beware the portions are HUGE! We happily just ordered a main course each, there was no way we could have eaten a starter or dessert as well. The gluten-free options were really good, best we've seen anywhere and Michelle loved finally getting a gluten-free fish and chips. Very good, will return.

We had our sons christening here and everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were so easy to deal with from the start. We had a party of 18 so meals were pre booked and this made the process so smooth. The food was lovely, and the staff were so friendly and professional. They really went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely day! Thank you so much!

We are regulars here and have been going since I was a child! The staff are always really friendly and attentive, nothing is ever too much trouble. The food is always great and tastes fresh. It is obvious that they use great quality ingredients. The prices are a bit on the expensive side in my opinion but to be honest I’d rather pay a bit more for good quality food and service. There are 2 electric car chargers in their car park as well - they’re ESB ones so they’re free (although I am aware they’re going to start charging for them at the end of April). Would really recommend the Ivanhoe.

I attended a function on a Friday afternoon. The location, car park and ease of access was brilliant. The hotel staff were very welcoming and the hotel was spotless. We were among 100 plus, in the function room, others were in another function room. From starters to dessert, we were all served by a lovely man and lady, and service was unbelievably fast. Now, as for the meal, well, wow. I had roast beef and it was the best I ever had the pleasure to eat. It practically melted in my mouth and there was a good serving of beef. The dessert was strawberry cheese cake. Ah jeez, not enough. I could have eaten as much as they could make, it was so , feck, I'd nearly drive back just for more. Then to crown it all, a tea and coffee buffet, set up for all in the room, and not your normal cheap muck, no, this was real coffee and nice and strong too. There was even a nice ahem, smoking area, just to crown a fantastic evening. This hotel has everything, and the only fault I had was the alcohol. Everyone was enjoying theirs but, lime and water for me, yep, was doing the driving. To Paul and Emma, thank you for inviting us up for Erin's special day, and to the management, staff and all involved in the kitchen, thank you, each and everyone of you. Next time in Belfast, I'll def be out to enjoy an evening with you again Declan.
