Anila

Our second visit after the first was so good. Fantastic food, each dish had it's own taste and flavours. Unlike so many Indian restaurants where most dishes use the same sauce. The staff were brilliant, we had a long chat with the owner and understand the difficulties they have experienced along the way. A very nice chap. An finally some really good coffee, unusual for and Indian restaurant. All in all a most enjoyable evening.

Whilst visiting the peaks we stopped here. Such a lovely place, the decor, food and service was great! Everything was clean well presented and tasty. The service was exceptional and we were pleasantly surprised with a free slice of cake at the end of the meal which was very thoughtful and kind. Would highly recommend.

Last night was the first time we have eaten here and it is most certainly not the last. We booked here as a treat for our daughter doing so well in her GCSES. We traveled from Nottingham and were pleasantly greated by multiple members of staff the moment we walked through the door (which might I add was opened for us by yet another pleasant and well mannered employee. The decor was absolutely amazing and my family were made to feel like royalty. The food is the best Indian cuisine I have ever tasted and the presentation was second to none along with the service. Nothing was too much trouble and after we had finished eating Ali (the owner) came over to our table looking a little concerned to make sure everything was ok with our food as we had left some, but we reassured him that it was due to the quantity and definitely not the quality. I cannot praise Ali enough for running such an amazing restaurant with such fantastic staff and incredible food. It was such a pleasure to be able to create some happy family memories with Ali and his staff. Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you again in the near future. Kind regards George

The atmosphere was incredible, the lights were dimmed perfectly for the mood and the waiters were very polite and told us about the dishes when serving them. The food was impeccable and was served quickly and each course served in perfect time. I personally loved the onion bhaji was the perfect texture and so crispy and seasoned to perfection. The strawberry mocktail was so sweet and so delicious. Would definitely visit again

I can’t rate Anila enough stars. We have eaten in and had a delivery. Every time it’s been brilliant. The service is great and everyone is really friendly, attentive and happy to help. The food is just beautiful and the atmosphere and restaurant itself is really lovely. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed each visit it take away which we’ve had and we will certainly be visiting again. It’s too good not to! Thanks Anila, see you soon!

Love this restaurant. Food was very tasty, if a tad pricey, but worth it. Loads of staff, some youngsters being trained up so service was extremely efficient - excellent considering it was a Friday evening and very busy. Was in a party of 5, loved the table, Decor is very smart. Bit noisy generally as there were so many customers and a small hen 'do' but nothing over intrusive. Don't sell beers on tap, just some bottled beer, so encouraged to take your own. 5 empty plates and 5 happy customers. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely delicious food!! We ordered, for takeaway, three chicken dishes and one vegetarian (aubergine), and the quality and flavour were excellent. Pilau rice was beautifully cooked also. My only constructive criticism is that the naans were on the smaller side than we are used to, so you may wish to order more than you would usually if you are getting them for sharing (or as an alternative to rice). Apart from that one very minor point, we were very happy with what we ordered and would definitely go back when next visiting the area. Well done to all concerned 🙂.
