We walked into Bembridge to go to another restaurant but when we got there it was closed. This turned out to be a stroke of luck because we stumbled across Framptons instead! Lovely meal, really chilled vibe and very friendly.
Hardly noticeable from outside, this small wine bar / restaurant on the High Street has an interesting lunch and dinner menu and the food is very good. It's tight modern seating inside and there's nice outdoor terrace. We had their Sunday lunch and it was great. We tried the slow cooked lamb and the pork belly, both were delicious and came with Yorkshires and nicely cooked vegetables with great roast potatoes. The crackling with the roast pork was amazing. For dessert we had the white chocolate bread and butter pudding and the Apple and Salted Caramel pudding, both were really lovely, well presented and accompanied by lovely custard. Decent wine list. Nice coffee, nice people.
Currently sat in the heated rear garden seating area having just finished THE best roast I’ve had on the island by far. I’ve had a few meals in Frampton’s before, but never a Sunday lunch. I couldn’t believe the flavours, and every aspect of the roast from incredible giant yorkies, to perfectly cooked roasties, and our slow cooked lamb was just incredible and all for such great value.
Hats off to you Frampton’s, you’ve nailed it.
Food was delicious and beautifully presented. A lovely ambiance and very friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit !
Very very good meal all round with fabulous service and friendly staff. Good food and drink with nice decor. Very much worth a visit, especially for the sumptuous flatbread which will surpass even the highest expectations with distinction. Very very good night out.

Nice little quirky bar with a good atmosphere and nice food. They had a fairly limited but interesting selection of beers on tap, complemented by a decent range of spirits and cocktails. I had a top notch burger. Service could have been better, so it's a 4.5 stars from me really.
Great evening spent catching up with a friend. Good food, fun atmosphere.
Great Sunday lunch takeaway for 10 people. Roast lamb and all the trimmings. Also later in the week we all chose from a very varied menu. Spot on. Would definitely recommend and no washing up!
What a great little wine bar/ restaurant!
A nice sheltered courtyard out the back for al fresco dining and suitably spaced tables inside.
We had a well made expresso martini to start.
Starters were large and the mains had many choices. I had the brisket flatbread with wedges.
Paul, the owner was extremely pleasant.
Enough choices for the vegetarian too.
We had there ribs for 2, takeaway. Omg, best ever, amazingly tender, Juicy. Seriously delicious. You won't find better ribs anywhere in the island. You really must try them. Compliments to the chef. Yummy😋. X hi
