90’s night and live music on Saturday - just perfect.
Tess was brilliant, helpful and accommodating.

Lovely 'oldy worldy' local. Nice selection of ales to choose from and friendly barman. On my way home from visiting my brother got dropped off at the station and saw the pub in the distance...glad I popped in, gorgeous pint of Wynchwood Dirty Tackle and then a great pint of Doombar. Very funny signage in the Gents made me smile😃

A great little pub with a big atmosphere. Big screens showing sports and of course, we love the live music as we play there a few times every year. The landlords always make us welcome when we come in either as the band or as a social visit.

Ashley was amazing at the bar, Jordan was a lovely chef who catered to his customers and the owners were fantastic at accommodating all guests. A fantastic pub and I can’t wait to come back

I have visited a couple of times the service is friendly and knowledgeable. I like the fact that they are dog friendly and always have good selection of treats. Tess and Dave are very welcoming.

Had lunch here with friends and was not disappointed. Friendly staff and nice food, which was excellent value for money. On the day we visited, it was very quiet (Tuesday), hence 3* for 'Atmosphere' but we will definitely be returning.

Lovely friendly pub with very tasty food especially full English breakfast. Kids and dog friendly too which is a bonus. Great place to pop in have a pint and chat with regulars. Definitely worth a visit. The manager ain’t bad either

Just had the best steak cooked for me here today, top notch cookery from their kitchen compliments to Jordan the chef!
Also had a great beer and have a great variety of spirits to choose from especially cazcabel coffee tequila! One of my faves!

Lovely friendly pub with friendly and welcoming staff , dog and kids friendly. Great to visit on Friday for Karaoke or Live music Saturday . Back garden is so warm on sunny days. Would highly recommend and definitely be back !

Great welcoming staff and managers , good pub to watch the football with plenty of tvs. Good value and tasty food. Dog friendly . The back garden is great to enjoy bit of sunshine.

First time visiting the half crown.
We booked a table for 11 the night before. The staff were very accommodating and managed to fit us in at the later time we needed.
Great atmosphere in there, with very friendly/helpful staff.
The staff were very busy but still smiling.
Both food and drink were great.
Definitely recommend for a relaxed pub meal.
