Mosts wonderful farm cafe, amazing ribeye steaks, starters and puds were superb. House wine and larger too . So I must say the steak nights are brilliant, staff are great and make you feel at home. Would definitely recommend highly . 👏😋
Popped in during a trip to Beningbrough Hall. The farm shop and cafĂ© are within the Hall’s estate but are not owned by the National Trust. The cafĂ© is attractive to the eye and not as expensive as I expected, with seating inside and outside. The produce is well presented.
Arrived on foot from Nun Monkton at 11.45 which was inbetween breakfast and lunch, which didn't start until 12, however we informed the mature Male waiter that we only had an hour so he very kindly took our order ready for 12 o'clock. Food was fab and very good value. Giant fish finger sandwich and
Super little smart cafe. Lovely service. Wonderful cakes at very reasonable prices compared to South East of England.
Called in here just before our visit to Beningbrough Hall, as we thought it might be the official cafe linked with Hall. It wasn't, but we stayed and enjoyed a very nice snack of scones and drinks. It's obviously very popular with the cycling community, and dog walkers. Eating inside and outside opt
First Class Breakfast fresh and nicely cooked all served with a friendly smile. I can really recommend this place to anyone.
We had a lovely breakfast then went for a long walk through the Bluebells! Our pooch had an icecream afterwards. What a lovely morning and setting!
A wonderful steak night evening, with friendly and attentive hosts, tasty food and a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere.
Unfortunately, when I went,it wasn't open. A Monday morning,so it's understandable. The outside seating area is particularly inviting and very well maintained. There is a small stall selling doggie ice cream, which I have never seen before. Can imagine that is very popular. Will revisit at a better ti
Wonderful café, very quick, warm and friendly service, really tasty quiche, so good we returned later after walking around Beningbrough for tea and fantastic cake. Recommended!
Such a lovely cafĂ©, had Coffee and Cakes here this morning and I have to say the cake was amazing.. good portion size and really excellent quality...and the views are stunning. Also very happy to say we are only 20 minutes drive away now we have a home in York so we can come anytime we like 😊
Love the cooked breakfast, cakes delicious, friendly staff just perfect
I had breakfast at the cafe recently, on Mothering Sunday. Their full English breakfast looked like something out of a magazine and was absolutely delicious. As you can imagine, it was very busy. The staff were on top of it. We were ordinary customers, treated like we were special guests. They
Fabulous dog-friendly outdoor seating, excellent quality and choice of food, irresistible cake selection. Service a bit haphazard and rushed but friendly - they were extremely busy on a sunny Sunday lunchtime to give them credit.
Excellent fish goujon sandwich and ginger and orange crunch Prices are a bit higher than most cafes but its a special treat when cycling!
