Unfortunately, when I went,it wasn't open. A Monday morning,so it's understandable. The outside seating area is particularly inviting and very well maintained.
There is a small stall selling doggie ice cream, which I have never seen before. Can imagine that is very popular. Will revisit at a better time. Sorry I missed the opportunity to try the food. Based on appearances it's bound to be good.
Super little smart cafe. Lovely service. Wonderful cakes at very reasonable prices compared to South East of England.
Mosts wonderful farm cafe, amazing ribeye steaks, starters and puds were superb. House wine and larger too . So I must say the steak nights are brilliant, staff are great and make you feel at home. Would definitely recommend highly . 👏😋
First Class Breakfast fresh and nicely cooked all served with a friendly smile. I can really recommend this place to anyone.
Fabulous dog-friendly outdoor seating, excellent quality and choice of food, irresistible cake selection. Service a bit haphazard and rushed but friendly - they were extremely busy on a sunny Sunday lunchtime to give them credit.
Arrived on foot from Nun Monkton at 11.45 which was inbetween breakfast and lunch, which didn't start until 12, however we informed the mature Male waiter that we only had an hour so he very kindly took our order ready for 12 o'clock. Food was fab and very good value. Giant fish finger sandwich and their own Aberdeen Angus burger. Spot on service.
Called in here just before our visit to Beningbrough Hall, as we thought it might be the official cafe linked with Hall. It wasn't, but we stayed and enjoyed a very nice snack of scones and drinks. It's obviously very popular with the cycling community, and dog walkers. Eating inside and outside options available, with hot and cold food on offer. Very pleasant staff, and scones of good quality, as shown in the picture attached!
Excellent fish goujon sandwich and ginger and orange crunch
Prices are a bit higher than most cafes but its a special treat when cycling!
A wonderful steak night evening, with friendly and attentive hosts, tasty food and a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere.
What a lovely spot for a woodland walk followed by a good cup of Yorkshire tea and a delicious cheese scone. There was even a doggy ice-cream for our companion. I highly recommend the Home Farm Cafeat Beningbrough Hall near York when you're in the area.
