We are regulars at the pub, and it’s always 5⭐️ every visit 🥰 We also held our wedding reception here in September and I cannot fault one single thing. The entire team were amazing from start to finish and made our entire day seemless, beautiful all while serving 80+ guests with big smiles and love! Every single guest was blown away by the food & service. Can’t recommend this place enough. It will now always have a special place in our hearts 🥹🫶🏻

I was on a narrowboat holiday with friends and had the good fortune to visit this classy brasserie. We had a fantastic evening, service and ambience were first class. Food was amazing and the duck leg on bean cassoulet with chorizo was out of this world. I would highly recommend visiting and am sorry that I live too far away to be unable to make this a regular habitat.

One of the most delicious meals out we've had in a while. Every course excellent but the beef short rib and the lamb roulade really were stand out!! Really flavourful and perfectly cooked meat.

Really lovely pub, staff very friendly. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. Dog friendly in the bar area. I had a bar snack which was yummy and the food menu looked incredible.

We went there for Sunday roast, the food was really good, the service was very friendly and professional.
Lovely atmosphere, the seating are nicely spaced apart.

We’ve eaten here several times and are always very happy with the quality and choice of food. The cheese soufflé , braised short beef ribs and pistachio soufflé with chocolate ice cream were all excellent. It’s relaxed and comfortable and our two (well behaved!) dogs are always welcome too.

What a great experience!
We have had many good pub roast dinners in the last 8 years in the UK - this one ranks as the best. All 5 of us had roast beef and all 5 of us demolished our food! An absolutely brilliant cut of beef, done beautifully pink with all the trimmings! 😋
We had a beer and bottle of Pinot Noir which was equally delicious!🍷
The service didn’t match the quality of the food but that didn’t detract from an amazing lunch!
I would highlight recommend this brassiere/pub for a Sunday lunch!

Lovely decour, friendly and helpful staff and brilliant food choices for vegans/vegetarians. Also the puddings and cocktails are lush :) good value and reasonably priced! would definitely recommend for a dinner out in berko :)

Delicious and well presented food combined with friendly service and nice atmosphere. We stopped here based on past reviews whilst headed back to the train from a day out walk and were rewarded. All of us enjoyed our meals and left smiling and sated. I would certainly return when in the area.
