Beautifully laid out Antiques shop over 4 floors, with a fabulous restaurant on the fifth floor. The food was delicious and staff very helpful and friendly. The only down side was the toilet being on 3rd floor and in need of some attention.

Black Goo is on the very top floor of Home & Colonial. (Some signage would be useful to inform people who’ve never visited before.) We pre-booked an afternoon tea for a Sunday afternoon. It is one of the very best we have ever tasted! Absolutely delicious. The scotch eggs and sausage roll are the best! We really loved the sandwiches which included a spiced chickpea one which tasted just like pakoras. Delicious! The scones are huge and the cakes amazing. The other cake selections look amazing. The staff are all very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend the ‘dirty afternoon tea’ which also includes Prosecco. The portions were so big that we ended up taking half of it home in a doggy bag. We will be back for sure!

Delicious food and buzzing atmosphere. We love the fresh handmade cakes too yo take away and enjoy in the afternoon. Only thing to note is it is at the top of a cute shop so be prepared to walk a few flights of stairs. I don't mind so much as it makes me feel less guilty about all the cake I always end up buying 😂😂

It was busy so we got cakes to take away. The slices are huge, very delicious and there's lots of variety! Will definitely try going there again.

Top floor lunch and brunch I had the pleasure of having midday birthday celebrations and was treated to beautifully cooked Eggs Royale. Enjoyed the views over the shops and buzzing market town All possible PPE and COVID-19 safety compliant but more importantly the service was sharp, attentive and friendly. Recommending reservations are made to avoid disappointment

Beautiful venue. Up 3 flights of stairs though unfortunately. Staff friendly. Had a full English. Wasn't overly impressed. Mushrooms had a weird taste and majority had clearly been reheated. Lovely selection of cakes though!

Quirky cafe on the top floor of the Home & Colonial Tea Stores. Be prepared to climb three flights of stairs. Plenty of vegan and gluten free options. The portions are generous and the prices are fair. Staff is very friendly and always on the move. Loved it here and the tea was surprisingly good.
