This was our go to pub until it closed so we were pleased to see it back open. Still finding its feet a bit. We’ve had better Sunday roasts but it is very reasonably priced. No bookings so a bit of a gamble for big parties, but not too busy. No bitters or Guinness which was a bit disappointing if focus is more on a place for “drinks”. Best of luck!

Gorgeous little pub with charming asthetics! The staff are very friendly and do everything to make you feel welcome. I spoke with Hannah behind the bar, she was forthcoming with explaining all the choices of drinks! I went for a lemon cocktail and it was amazing!! The food too was very tasty! No complaints at all, I’ll definitely be coming back :)

***BEST PUB IN BERKHAMSTED*** how anybody can criticise this place is beyond me. I come into the pub on a regular basis and I am always greeted by friendly faces and the staff having a good time! It’s hospitality for Christ sake.. nice to see people actually having fun working in the worst possible industry! Warm atmosphere and the staff work very hard to create that. Matt

Came for a few cocktails and the bar staff (didn't get his name) was great. Good conversation and great cocktails, if you did a 2-for-1 on cocktails it would be epic.

Pop down on occasions, normally a week night. Even over christmas, whilst it was busy inside with people enjoying themselves in groups. There was plenty of space outside to enjoy a quiet couple of Guinness with a friend on the nice decking and handy roof/shelter over the tables. Staff super friendly. All very efficient in that sense. I guess it was a nice mix of two experiences. A busier, more 'bustling' inside, and a quiet, more relaxed outside. Absolutely go again. Cheers.

Fantastic pub come gastro dining experience. In the summer, the garden is a cute little courtyard but it actually curls up and back around the top of the pub so go a little further if you have trouble finding a seat. A bar / small drinking area can host you for a cocktail, glass of wine or pint. The other half of the pub is reserved for dining and bookings. You are greeted and sat on entry and the menu is a good size but a little on the expensive side. I have to say it’s worth it though as the quality of the food is great. One of the best places to go for grub in Berkhamsted expect quality produce and mixologist style cocktails. The Sunday roasts look immense but yet to try. I think they have now switched to more of a tapas style menu which we are yet to experience but I hope it is as good as before!

Great night at The Lamb for a work gathering. Portions were a little on the smaller side so make sure you allow for this when ordering but the food itself was really nice. Would recommend the Hummus, Dirty Fries and Chocolate Brownie. The Duck Croquettes were just lacking a nice sauce to complement. All round a good experience and staff were nice and polite

Honestly best roast I’ve had in a while. They aren’t stingy with the amount of food you get which makes for a lovely change to most places. It was cooked perfectly (We all went for chicken). The gravy was so good that I would probably drink it on its own… 10/10 would and will be going again and recommending to all. Can’t wait to try the normal menu and for my next roast I’ll be having duck
