Attended a family wedding at this Hotel. Excellent Wedding, stunning location, attention to detail was perfect . The food and service was amazing. One of the best Weddings I have attended. So full credit to the hotel. Didn’t stay at the hotel but if the wedding is a reflection I am sure the facilities are first class.

We chose Sandy Cove as our honeymoon hotel and have celebrated our anniversary at Sandy Cove ever since. The hotel service and facilities combined with the stunning location makes this our most favourite spot on earth. We leave not thinking that there are places we haven't visited, but with a list of places to visit next year!

Two night stay for a wedding at the hotel. We had a top floor room with super sea view. Comfy bed, powerful shower. The room was hot but we kept the balcony door open to keep it cool. We ate in the restaurant and food was delicious. The waitresses were rushed and under pressure but most were cheerful. Special mention for Lisa who was lovely. The wedding went so well. The rain and mist cleared and sun came out. The Venue is a superb separate area to the hotel and the facilities were excellent. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Thank you Sandy Cove for a great few days.

We had a afternoon cream tea, everything was delicious, couldn't fault the experience. All the staff were friendly and attentive, really is the most perfect spot to chill and relax. We will be back, hopefully the mist will have cleared to make the view even more spectacular.

What a Hotel, What a View and lovely friendly helpful staff to top it all off. We planned our wedding at The Sandy Cove Hotel from over 100 miles away after finding the venue on line and booked without even visiting - We were not disappointed. From making initial contact with the venue to discuss planning our day, to visiting a couple of months after booking and then arriving back in April and having the Wedding day we had dreamed of and more. The view is breathtaking, the hotel is clean and modern, The Grounds are well maintained, The swimming pool is excellent, The food is simply delicious (our guests still mention the food now) but most importantly for us the Staff were all so friendly. Nothing was ever too much trouble for any of them whether a phone call question, an email to answer my many questions about the wedding or during our stay for our wedding day, everyone member of staff was professional, friendly, helpful and a joy to be surrounded by we really felt at home and at ease. We are so glad that we found this hotel and that it is now apart of our loves forever, we cannot wait to visit again.

We stayed Saturday night … From the moment we arrived we had a fabulous experience. Our room was amazing … what a view !!!! I used the swimming pool, I had it all to myself and the facilities were spotlessly clean. We ate at The Seacliff restaurant. The food was superb and the service was first class with our waitress explaining each course of the Taster Menu. I walked around the grounds on Sunday morning. Again, they were fabulous, very well maintained. And the view from the ‘platforms’ are absolutely stunning. Overall I would thoroughly recommend Sandy Cove Hotel. ‘Thankyou for a fabulous stay’

We got married here in 2022 and just returned for our anniversary, this place blows us away everytime and we will come back every year. We stumbled across Sandy Cove when looking for a memorable location for our wedding, “The Venue” as it’s called it’s the perfect wedding setting with its spectacular postcard views. The hotel rooms are lovely, and the majority (on request) have the incredible views over Combe Martin Beach, and you can see Wales too! The restaurant food is also top notch. Sandy Cove is a must visit for anyone.

My daughter and her now husband had their wedding at this beautiful venue. The wedding itself was fantastic and enjoyed by everyone. However, it was marred by the waiting staff, who to be fair, were no more than school leavers. My daughter and her husband had booked an evening dinner for 16 people the night before and while they were in the dining room at lunch, they overheard several complaining to each other about having to endure serving 16 people who had the temerity to want starters and that it would be a pain to have to serve so many. That is not something you want to hear when you have just put a considerable sum in the hotel’s till. My daughter actually tipped me off to check the cutlery as the ones given to her at lunch were dirty. However, I was pleased to find that at dinner I found them to be acceptable. Her husband had set up a bar tab for the table but when I went to buy a drink before my dinner, I was asked to pay, ‘because they prefer large tables to pay for their drinks as they are served’. This caused a little frustration and slight embarrassment as I never had my wallet with me. However, the groom put them right and it was sorted. Service was slow and disjointed with the bride being the very last to be served some time after the person before had been served. A lack of focus and a little better organisation would have meant this wouldn’t have happened. A shame actually as the food at dinner was not bad at all. The wedding itself was excellent but it would be as it was what the Bride and Groom had organised themselves and provided clear instructions to ensure all went to plan. The wedding day organisation was very good, the only negative observation was that I do not think it was at all sensible to leave barbecued meat and other food outside to go cold. It wouldn’t have been difficult to serve from hotplates indoors. The week we were down it was pouring with heavy, consistent rain every day and quite gusty, but I think we had our Angel looking out for us as just before the ceremony, the rain disappeared for the entire afternoon and evening, the clouds parted and the sun made an appearance. I prefer to remember why we were there and the lovely people we shared the day with. Hopefully management will take onboard the critique which has been given in good faith.

We had our wedding at the Sandy Cove in March and we had an amazing day with great views. Our wedding coordinator Sammie was brilliant and made sure we had everything we needed going above and beyond at every opportunity. We had lots of compliments from our guests on the food, especially the roast beef! My only area for improvement would be that we asked in the lead up to the wedding if we could have confetti cannons for our first dance and we were told this wouldn’t be possible due to the equipment they have inside which could get damaged. We accepted this but were then disappointed to see on the venues Instagram that the couple who got married the day before us were allowed this for a gender reveal.
