We ate here for Father's day and sat outside on the rear garden terrace. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The staff here are brilliant and the food was lovely. We had four separate starters and mains and each course looked and tasted lovely with fresh ingredients they use from their own garde
Went for Sunday lunch as we had a voucher bought by family. Had to book a fair few weeks in advance but the meal was outstanding and definitely worth the wait. It is quite expensive but everything was amazing throughout the meal. Definitely one for a special occasion
Just decided to go to the pipe and glass for a bar meal. Was going to have the fish pie, instead had on the recommendation of our friendly waiter, fish and chips. It was not on the menu but he heard me saying I'd fancied fish and chips and voalla. Cod loin in a light batter with chunky chips and gar
There are not enough words to describe the wonderful meal and service we received while using the private dining room upstairs. Louise was unbelievable , describing everything, checking on our needs, topping up our drinks but then also leaving us to enjoy the afteenoon and chat. Nothing was too much
Lovely place. Just gorgeous. Room was close to perfect. Grounds are lovely. Staff are brilliant. Beer is out of this world. However, the food really wasn't much to write home about. It's ok. And surely the world's worst wine list. Bottles repeated etc. The Primitivo was delicious but other wines dis
My husband treated me to a night here for my 60th and it was a complete joy from start to finish. We have eaten here before but never stayed. May is a beautiful month and nature at its best. We stayed in Thyme which was perfect in every way. Lots of lovely touches. The meal was as one might expect a
When one goes out for dinner, especially to celebrate an anniversary, you have a lot of expectation, especially when said restaurant is a Michelin star establishment. The attention to detail, and the training of the staff to make this experience simply perfect, was abundant and without using hyperbo
Food, drinks and service were all amazing and very reasonably priced for a Michelin-starred restaurant. Our table shared several starters and mains tapas style and found all of the dishes delicious and were absolutely stuffed by the end of the meal. Highly recommended! 💯
Excellent from start to finish. Service fantastic, friendly knowledgeable staff. Amazing food and room with the comfiest of beds. Faultless stay
After waiting a year to enjoy a birthday dinner & requesting a window seat next to the garden,we were disappointed. Though next to a window it was not near the garden, was noisy from old fashioned disco music and a loud table nearby. The food was ok but probably not Michelin star quality. Those serv
Visited for a family member's birthday and were not disappointed. The food was incredible, delicious and filling, which can be rare at Michelin starred restaurants. The staff were very friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Can't wait to return!
I did not make use of the facilities or product bit the establishment is truly beautiful. I had the privilege in my short time in visiting to have met the owner James. One only can be left in awe & admiration to James's approach, ethics and personality and his contribution to both his employees & t
Another beautiful meal at the Pipe and Glass. Must be about the 10th time I've dined here now over the last decade or so. It's always outstanding. Lovely food, fantastic atmosphere, friendly service. Perfection.
4 of us went to celebrate a birthday. Was a special experience and all the staff were incredibly welcoming. The food was also stunning. Would highly recommend to anybody.
We stayed in the Mint room, which was very private with its own garden and was beautifully finished. The service was faultless and the food was amazing! We will definitely be returning.
We visited the restaurant recently and absolutely loved it. Beautiful location, nice interior, lovely food, and local ales as well. What more could you want?
Delightful lunch in the quaint welcoming surroundings of the P&G. Lovely grounds and warm welcoming staff. My good lady and I had Oysters and Pate for starters followed with salmon for her and steak sandwich for me which of course were delicious and very good portion size so left full. Well worth
