The Woolpack is a small traditional two room pub close to Beverley Westwood. It has a cosy little snug and a bigger Room. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The important thing is they serve cask conditioned hand-pulled real Ale. A decent choice of beers always in top quality condition. I have been coming here on and off for over 40 years it's still a nice place not horribly modernised like a lot of pubs have been. There is a nice Courtyard garden at the back. Good food and dog friendly. If you want a pub where you can just have have a nice chat and a decent drink then this is the place.
A group of us paid a visit one teatime for drinks on a Thursday. We ended up staying all night and participated in the weekly quiz and had a great time. We will definitely be back again for another visit.
Thursday Steak night (other grilled dishes available) 2 steaks and bottle of wine free followed by quiz. Nicely cooked food and local produce. Great atmosphere in pub and the service was excellent. Will be back for pie night on a Tuesday. Recommend
Called in here on the way home from a day trip. I can't believe how lucky we were to stumble across this lovely little pub. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing. We live an hour away from here and are already planning to visit again.
Excellent pub and fish & chips with our doggies Mollie & Mistie.
Great staff, relaxing atmosphere and a great welcome.
Great beer. Friendly service. Dog friendly. Sensible prices.
A small pub on the edge of Westwood is definitely worth a visit .decent menu pleasant staff dog friendly.
After having several different dishes on multiple occasions I can truly say this "tucked away" quaint friendly pub is absolutely fantastic. Keep up the great work!
The Woolpack is a quaint 'Olde Worlde' pub hidden away in one of Beverley's back streets: You'll find it in Westwood Road, leading onto the Westwood pasture, which offers fantastic walks for you and your family.
The pub has a good choice of drinks and you can expect a warm welcome from the owners.
There is a Pie Night and Quiz Night during the week, as well as a very lively atmosphere across the weekend.
The restaurant quality food is always a delight and it is an increasingly popular venue. So, booking is highly recommended.
Well worth a visit!
Aw, I love the Woolpack. Great snug, nice drinkie selection. Admits dogs, great for a post-walk pint or food. Top notch quality old school country pub of the highest order. Friendly staff and local customers.
Can't recommend the Woolpack enough if you like this sort of proper pub. Which I do.
