The Cockpit Cafe

Cozy atmosphere, great service and good food. Ordered a steak and cheese sourdough toastie from the menu and it was very tasty. Service was also quick and prompt. Only complaints being that the steak could have been cut up a bit more to make it easier to eat. Also the menus could do with some re-printing as they are quite grubby.

Spacious and originally themed cafe in a prime location of Beverley centre. The retro aviation theme is throughout and done very well, even the staff are dressed to suit the theme. We had a couple of different drinks from the varied drinks menu, which were of excellent quality. The herbal tea I was presented with was composed of natural ingredients, not just a flavoured bag like most places. We also had breakfast items, which are served up to 12 noon daily. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, allowing me to make my own breakfast composed from the extras menu, which had an excellent variety of healthy options in it. Although, the menu itself had something for most people anyway, including a breakfast crepe which looked amazing. All the food was of a high standard and tasted brilliant, whilst also being priced very fairly indeed. This place is also very pet friendly, having days of the month dedicated to spoiling pets. Over All a very original place, where all aspects are executed very well, would recommend to all, except those with strong pet allergies.

Fabulous meal great atmosphere with live band on. Drinks are very expensive, but to be expected and budget for them in advance !! Seemed to have a click clientele who took over the dance floor and ended up outside doing the same dance all night. Left early as it became quite monotonous! Apart from them, a great place to visit, if your not in the click though, you'll only go once.

What a great find. Beverley is not short of lovely places to eat but this place is very original and top notch. Beautifully themed right down to the waitress's dress and sound track. The food was excellent. I had the eggs Benedict. The sour bread toast was fabulous. Portion was just right, two eggs perfectly poached. Lovely. My wife had the sour dough toastie (3 slices of bread) and loved it. The kids had the Mac and cheese and both enjoyed it. All in all a very satisfying stop. We would definitely recommend.

Great spot! A fantastic selection of drinks. The bar tender made my partner some amazing cocktails and I had some delicious local beers. Perfect alternative to the classic pub standard offerings and a refreshing change from the usual chain rubbish! We also had lunch here which was delicious, I can fully recommend the steak panini! Yum.

We had heard this place had opened and wanted to try for ourselves, came with hubby and parents. Had coffee and scones and cannot fault it. Coffee was nicer than I have had at Costa and the scones were totally delicious. Decor was funky and fun and I cannot believe how happy and attentive the staff were! A lovely little gem of a place and we will be definitely be regulars!!
