Mowgli Indian Bistro And Bar

We’ve been to this wonderful restaurant about 10 times now, sorry we haven’t posted a review till now! Put simply, it’s a cut above. Every dish is bursting with flavour and thoughtfully put together. We had tandoori scallops, samosas, crab masala, lamb shank, lamb tikka premium, aubergine with mozzarella, lime rice - all absolutely incredible. Love the way they use & present seafood. Staff are very good, the owner is charming, and today we met his fabulous wife for the first time, who was great to chat with. Highly, highly recommended 👌👌👌

My parents suggested this place when I was visiting. Firstly the staff were very attentive, always checking if every thing was OK (we found no issues with food so didn't see how they would deal with that) and always seeing if we needed anything. The food it's self was amazing, we ordered several dishes and each tasted so nice. I would also like to point out the naan breads were perfect (soft and not burnt at all). I had my 6 year old daughter with me and the waiters also made her included with the banter between ourselfs and them. The touch I liked at the end when you get the mints with the receipt, there was sweets included for her. Atmosphere I only gave 3 stars but that's only because it was quiet and that's quiet hard to judge on place; but saying that, overall I would recommend it. Thanks for a good evening!

Mowgli's is our local Indian and we love it. We order a takeaway regularly and the food is always beautiful but you can't beat eating in. The food is stunning!! Offering a lot more dishes then what's on the takeaway menu. The owners and staff are so friendly and welcoming. Chardonnay is delicious and a free brandy was offered as we were celebrating an anniversary. I would always recommend this fantastic establishment to any person who loves Indian food at a great price. If you are ever in Bexhill then get yourself down to the seafront and enjoy a fabulous meal.......... Don't forget to wear loose fitting clothes 😊😊.

First time eating at Mowgli’s this evening, we fancied and Indian but wanted a little change! And that it was, staff all very friendly, pleasant professional service. Food tasted amazing, it’s not the cheapest, but you pay for what you get! And if you like peas, I’d recommend the special rice, there was enough for a family of 4 🤭🤷‍♀️ All In all great meal out. 🏆✔️ Even had after eights as a after dinner mint, the only after dinner mint that should be served 🔥

Really delicious food that was ultimately worth the one hour wait from ordering to service. Our table for two had our order taken quickly and the staff were very nice and polite. The restaurant was not overly busy when we arrived but we did wait a really long time for the food to arrive. Nevertheless the food was so good they deserve the 5* rating. Another Google review mentioned the crispy potatoes and they were brilliant!
