Excellent cafe. Polite and friendly staff. Competitive prices and very good food.
Pot of tea for two provided 6-8 cups! (they were smallish, but more than enough each time). All day breakfast - superb. Well-cooked bacon, sausage was excellent flavour and the mushrooms were fantastic - and I'm a picky eater.
Clean and attractive environment, well-layed tables.
Roasts are brilliant. Tender meat, fresh veg and lovely gravy. All served on hot plates to keep your food warm. Great selection of puddings too.
Very popular with good reason. On a bus route but nearby parking rather limited.
I visit with a group of elderly and we eat of dozens of places, but Chapter Two is by far the group's favourite.

Leanne and the team did the most wonderful food for my dad's wake. They accommodated all our dietary needs brilliantly and the resulting food was absolutely delicious and perfect for the occasion. I would really recommend them for external catering events like this. Many thanks Leanne and team!

This is now CHAPTER 2 and has been taken over by Rick and family who originally were based at Station House.
Its fresh, bright, clean, similar menus and great value for money. Home deliveries lunchtime and evenings.
In addition breakfasts are served and coffee and cakes too. Love it.

Popped in for first time just to have a quick lunch, but was tempted by the Specials board, so ordered a roast chicken dinner and a cottage pie. Both meals were delicious and came with 6 vegetables. I have to eat gluten free, so was nice change to be able to have a good choice on the menu, along with knowledgeable help from the server. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will go back.
